NY Pro 🗽✨

First NY Pro experience in the books. @nypro_
One of the toughest stages in the world, standing beside some of the best bikini athletes out there — and exactly where I wanted to test myself.

The night before the show didn’t go quite as planned with my acid reflux flaring up badly and I spent most of the night in pain and barely sleeping and having to take meds.
But sometimes that’s part of the sport too — learning how to show up regardless, as much as I did want to sit out of the show knowing i would not be at my best..😮‍💨

I’ve always believed growth comes from stepping into the deepest waters, even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed. No excuses, no regrets — just lessons, perspective, and even more fire moving forward.

We’ll take the feedback, sharpen the details, and keep building.

Thank you to everyone who has walked through the highs and lows of this journey with me. ❤️

Straight into yet another peak week, we are 6days out to @pittpowerfit 🔥

The weekend was fun celebrating friends!

The husband has been drowning in work this week so I've been solo parenting, tortured with 听写 and missing him loads.

I'm so grateful we've surrounded ourselves with the best people, making life more colorful and exciting!

✨GLOBAL CLASSIC MALAYSIA✨

Someone asked me, “why are you always so happy, even on a prep?”
I mean, I have my moments for sure which will very obviously be displayed on my face even if I manage to curb my intrusive thoughts from leaving my mouth, lol, but all things considered, “how not to be happy when I have this much love and support?” ♥️🫶🏼♥️
•
And that pretty much sums up my biggest takeaway from my first overseas show. This journey may largely be a solo one (no one can train, do cardio or diet for you) but it would’ve been virtually impossible for me to join this or any bodybuilding competition all on my own and without any help. I’m just so blessed and super fortunate to have such an extensive support system around me and in the grand scheme of things, I am a nobody… which also means it’s so nice to be somebody to many bodys whom I have been lucky enough to cross paths with along the way. I’m very grateful for each and everyone of you. ♥️🙏🏼♥️

Special mention to @zuhraa , @sh3ikho and @haowedoit for coming all the way to support me, @ralphaeljared who showed up at the very last minute (we called him the night before and he was still in Singapore!) and to #mygiantgymson @genixbw, @carrlistt & @shajrm for checking-in on me constantly. ♥️🤗♥️
•
Shout out to Mama @begohualde who did so much for me on Show weekend (post to come) - you are the real MVP, and @glitnlacquer who was also competing but included me in everything leading up to show day like going to athletes’ check-in together, and a hair wash!
•
Not forgetting my amazing team at work - Kuan, Jarod, Yusuf, Yvonne L, Yvonne G, Diana, Chris, Henree and Alan who make it possible for me to do my prep while having a day job (and office mama Angie) as well as everyone who is part of the Bootique Collective (I know Charlie and Sara are dying to feed me!) - thank you for everything ♥️🥹♥️
•
I really have a lot of people to thank (the list is exhaustive) and even if you weren’t physically here, I hope you know who you are! ♥️🙌🏼♥️

🏆 Always a pleasure to be back on the podium with this amazing team!
Grateful to be recruited earlier this year, and it’s been such a joy competing alongside all of you. Truly appreciate the love, support, and friendship we’ve built — and I hope this won’t be our last race together.

“Where did you have your first date?”
“Phuket.”

An amazing reset & recharge as always.

The place that brought us together in the first place 11years ago 😂💕
Glad to be back here after so many years, can’t believe the last time we came was precovid..

Can’t wait for our next 🌊☀️🌴adventure soon😎

Life lately — Just a tad bit less pedal to the metal, trying to find a proper norm to life outside of prep seeing that its been more than a year since then. One day at a time 😌🙏🏻
