✨ The colours you wear may influence the energy you carry.

Have you ever noticed how wearing white, cream or soft pastels can make you feel lighter, calmer and more at peace?

And how darker shades can sometimes feel heavier or more intense?

In many spiritual beliefs, light colours symbolise clarity, peace and positivity, while dark colours are associated with grounding, mystery and introspection.

Have you noticed? Saints and priests wear white. The colour of auspicious celebrations such as weddings is white.

I always wear white or light colours such as yellow or pink for my travels or office or places with lots of people.

Black attracts heavy energy and best avoided if you do not want to attract energy of people around you.

What if choosing what you wear was also an opportunity to become more intentional about how you want to feel?

🤍 Choose light when you crave peace.
🌿 Choose nature-inspired shades when you need balance.
🤍 Choose whatever makes you feel confident, grounded and protected.

Because perhaps it's not just about the colour you wear, but the energy, intention and mindset you bring into the world.

What colour makes YOU feel your best? Tell me in the comments. ✨

I wonder what we think success is…?

That thing we never quite reach.
The thing that keeps us striving for more.
The thing that tells us we’re not quite there yet.

For me…

This is a picture of success.

A 49-year-old woman
who never thought she was good enough
creating a one-woman show
and sharing her magic with the world.

And will I have made it when I sign the contract?
Get the agent?
Fill the room?

Or have I made it because here I am.
Doing it.
And not only that…

Actually believing I can.

The Phucket Way isn’t about becoming someone so you can finally be enough.

It’s about realising you were never required to become anyone else.

Just be.

And Phuck the rest. 🌈

And if you want a bit of this magic in your theatre, school, organisation or event…

You know where I am. 🌈

All love.

Christmas is about the magic ✨ - Family, friends, lights, hope and all the love you give and receive ❤️

But Christmas has become more of a consumerism and marketing propaganda than the actual feeling of being loved and cared about.

It is very important to educate your children about consumerism and where the gifts end up after it has been used.

children are dreaming of what's under the Christmas tree. 🎁
But have we ever stopped to think about what happens after they unwrap it?

The plastic packaging goes in the bin.
The novelty wears off.
The toy gets forgotten.
And eventually, it becomes waste.

Did you know?
Each Christmas, the UK alone discards approximately 114,000 to 125,000 tonnes of plastic packaging that goes unrecycled!

What if, this Christmas, we gifted them something different?

✨ An experience that sparks curiosity.
🌍 A trip that opens their eyes to the world.
🎨 A hobby that helps them discover their talents.
🌳 An adventure that brings them closer to nature.
❤️ Time with us — making memories they can carry for life.

Let's raise children who collect experiences, not just possessions.

This year, gift less stuff.

Let this Christmas be
❤️ mindful
💟 conscious
🫶coming from heart and
🌎 In favour of the world

I was absolutely delighted when the lovely Holly Treacy @lifestyleeditorholly asked me to contribute to her brilliant article for Happiful @happiful_magazine about dusking — deliberately going outside to notice and experience the end of the day.

It’s such a simple idea, but it really resonated with me and with the thinking behind my work @katesgardentherapy

We spend an enormous amount of time being encouraged to look inwards — examining our thoughts, feelings, behaviours and symptoms. And that’s super important. Sometimes it can be incredibly helpful and freeing to turn our attention the other way. To look up. Notice the light changing. Watch the day ending. Remember that we’re part of something much bigger.

I particularly love that there is nothing to achieve. No equipment needed. Nothing to buy. No need to become a better version of yourself.

Just step outside and notice what’s happening.

Thank you Holly for inviting me to be part of this one — it was a real pleasure to contribute ❤️

And tomorrow, perhaps give dusking a go.
