🥀Pretty fades🥀

Pretty fades to REAL pretty when we do it though. Not being cocky, just being honest, look at the proof!

Believe it or not, fades are usually pretty unpredictable- every color line, even if its the "same color" has different quirks.

Then also factoring in what color we prelightened to, what colors are already there prior to application, where color is most exposed to sunlight, exposure to chlorinated water, etc etc.

Point being, fades are hard. So when the homies come back looking like THIS?

I'm gonna be HYPE.

After & Before! 💇🏽‍♀️✨
Sometimes a girly just desperately needs a little refresh.

So obviously I went to see my incredibly talented friend @happylabwest said PLEASE make me feel cute again 😭😂 and babyyyyy she DELIVERED.

The cutest lil bangssss, fresh layers, some bounce and movement, and suddenly I am feeling like the cutest & happiest girly ever.

Forever grateful to have such a talented friend who knows exactly how to bring my hair back to LIFE.

Kat and I recently spent two full days at an education event learning all kinds of new techniques, from blonding and vivid color to color theory, razor haircuts, blow-drying, and more.

And of course, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to let someone else get their hands in my hair! 😂

Thank you so much for the amazing haircut and for filling my brain with even more hair knowledge. 💕✂️

📍Hot Person Summer | Costa Mesa

Still thinking about Hot Person Summer.☀️

What a beautiful turnout and such a great reminder of what community can look like when people come together with intention, love, and a whole lot of joy.

VROC created such a welcoming and intentional space, and it was amazing to watch people connect, laugh, celebrate, and just be themselves.

Big love to @vietrainbowoc , @playbacksundaze , and @gremlingarage_cc for always being so welcoming and for giving me the opportunity to document these moments.

Already looking forward to seeing what comes next. Until then, here’s a little look back at Hot Person Summer.

It was such a good weekend!

2026 was our gayest year yet. We are so happy to have been in community with everyone, showing up to various Pride events, sorting clothes on Mondays between events, meeting up to make poster and art and getting to know each other other better through the whole process.

Affirming OC’s objectives have remained simple: free clothes, no means testing, have fun, radically affirming, and community run.

Our group consists of many amazing volunteers that show up over and over to keep us going and getting cool clothes out to the community.

This year we not only participated in many prides but actually participated in the small but mighty planning group for Santa Ana Pride, which blossomed into an incredible, community-powered event. Truly only possible through each and every single contribution made.

We’re proud of our hand-made flyers, late night meetings, signal chat convos and meetups at houses, studios, downtowns, coffee shops and breweries. This is what makes our community amazing.

Thanks to everyone that came through and found clothes with us, shared your day with us, and volunteered with us.

Now, let’s return back to our closets, for pride is over….
