Philippine Flag inspired Phoenix with Script from the @taylorswift song Marjorie to remind me to always be humble and grounded when I rise high and burning from mania...

The mythical Phoenix is known for dying in a spectacular burst of flames and being reborn from its own ashes.
When a phoenix senses its life is ending, it breaks into flames, often on a nest of spices like incense and myrrh. Then a new, young phoenix rises from the ashes of the old one.

I relate to this process through my experience of Mania & Psychosis where I burn to the point of crashing but the Phoenix's rebirth gives me hope that I will rise again...

The use of incense and myrrh with the burning process also symbolises how @happyoils.uk , where I utilise aromatherapy, is both a gift and curse to me. I started this business while I was Manic and it is both a trigger and my outlet to keep me grounded.

The dominating colour of red which symbolises valor in the Philippine flag and the blue feathers on the tail which symbolises peace gives me hope that I can achieve contentment by being brave and true to myself.

The Philippine Sun symbolises freedom and unity. I envisioned the whole design to proudly declare my heritage because we Filipinos are known for our resilience and the ability to remain joyful through hardships.

Filipino Mothers UK 🇬🇧🇵🇭 is an Online Community on Facebook Groups that is made by Filipino Mothers for Pinay Mums of every stage of motherhood here in the UK.

This supportive group of Mums all over the UK gather online for weekly catchups, studies about women of the bible and strong faith, and regular seasonal in person meet ups in different parts of the UK.

This group has supported Mums through difficult experiences such as pregnancies, giving birth, post-partum struggles, physical and mental health issues, financial issues, schooling and education, and many other sensitive issues through peer support, signposting services and charities.

I have regularly contributed to this group to have a village of Filipinos Mothers like what we would have if we were in the Philippines and I am so thankful I found this group 🥹🙏🏻

🚀 Curious to understand how to Scale with Retailers and get more YESes 🙌

Founders came with brilliant products. great brands, ambitious plans and an open mind to learn directly from a former retail buyer 🤩

Because everything that drives a buyer’s decision…

…the things that make a buyer lean in… or switch off…

…the Art & Science of what make buyers say YES over a ‘maybe’

Founders never get to see any of that.

It lives behind closed doors.🚪

The Retail Ready Skills Bootcamp was built to bring that insight into the room. 💪

And the results speak for themselves…

“I could never have imagined having that opportunity” - after pitching to a panel of four retail buyers.

“Practical, actionable, real and relevant insights…not based on theory.”

And one founder has already secured a YES from Selfridges (more on that soon 👀)

This bit was gold…

It left founders pitch-ready, knowing exactly what to say, with a retail buyer pitch-deck and practised pitch ready to go 🙌

Knowing exactly how to turn a ‘maybe’ into a YES.

I knowing first-hand, that instinct of knowing what makes a buyer lean in or switch off takes years to build.

And that kind of clarity doesn’t come from theory.

So it was non-negotiable for Ami Rabheru to ensure that this bootcampwasn’t riddled in theory, and that it was right from the buyers shoes.

We can’t wait to share more wins from our 12 weeks together… very soon.

In the meantime…

What’s the one thing you wish someone had told you before your first buyer meeting? ⬇️

Thank you @berksgrowthhub @tallorder.shop @librafinearts @henley.woods @happyoils.uk @patricia.achish @comoencasa_uk @kana_homecooked @locaerise @izabela.rocks @latifanaturals

#ComingSoon This is the only bun in the oven! 🤭

We apologise for our previous post, we realised it's insensitive to joke about conceiving and pregnancy when some people struggle with it and/or have lost their angels.

I hope we didn't cause heartaches 🙏🏻

Joking aside, this @happyoils.uk
Baby Oil prototype is indeed coming soon!

I am formulating something safe
and nourishing for the
ultra sensitive skin of newborns.

As a Nurse and Mother, I have seen how
different types of skin conditions affects
newborns and babies with ultra sensitive skin.

Our hearts weep and we feel helpless
when we see our precious babies suffering
from something that is not healing
whatever we try to do to ease their pain 🥺

I am in deep research and experimentation with this special formula and I am looking for Mommies and Babies, Newborn or Older with Ultra Sensitive Skin to try my new product.

Message me if you're interested! ❤️

🎓 Retail Ready Skills Bootcamp Graduates 🎉🥂

13 weeks ago, they showed up with an open mind, ready to learn and knowing their products deserved a YES from Retail Buyers. 🚀

Today, they graduated, knowing exactly how to move from “maybe” to a YES. 🎓

After 12 weeks together online, we finally met in person this morning for the Retail Ready Skills Bootcamp graduation - and it was such a special day.
