It starts with the mindset.

When we align who we are with where we’re going—and move in the spirit of our ancestors—we begin to unlock what is possible for our families, our communities, and our people.

We carry their resilience. Their wisdom. Their vision.

The work now is ours: to think differently, build intentionally, and move forward together for the greater good.

We are because they were. And what we build next matters. 🖤

With just over a week since The Hap’s House Foundation Family Wellness Series, I’m still overjoyed by the opportunity to support such an important conversation and contribute to the wellness of our community. 💜

It was an honor to lead a meaningful conversation on “How to Stop Hating Yourself”—creating space to explore self-worth, self-compassion, accountability, and healing.

One reminder I hope we all carry forward: We do not have to hate ourselves into healing. We can tell the truth, take responsibility, receive support, and still treat ourselves like someone worth caring for. 🤎

Thank you to Hap’s House Organization @hapshouseorg for welcoming me into The Living Room and to everyone who showed up, reflected, and joined the conversation.

Hope to see you at the next Hap’s House Living Room Gathering! 🏡✨

Yesterday, I attended the @operationhopehq HOPE Inside Grand Opening to support my dear colleague, Coach Mike of @walk_on_consulting

What resonated with me most was witnessing testimony of transformation. It was a powerful reminder that when we meet people where they are, create opportunities, and build meaningful community partnerships, lives can truly change. That’s the power of purpose-driven collaboration.

Congratulations to @operationhopebm and @wellsfargo for investing in financial empowerment and stronger communities. This is the kind of impact we believe in at @hapshouseorg 💜

My father, the late, great Gregory Otis “Hap” Evans, was the biggest man I’ve ever known—a man of integrity, leadership, unwavering commitment to family, and deep faith. He stood uprightly as a man ordained with vision, principle, and purpose.

To be his eldest child is my greatest flex. Who I am today is a direct reflection of how he raised me, poured into me, and loved me throughout my childhood, young adulthood, and even into early motherhood.

Hap’s House was birthed as a continuation of his vision for our family—building strong communities by building families first…“The family loves, cares for, and respects one another.”

No matter the hour, the day, or the year, it is my mission to carry the family torch forward as I press toward the mark of my higher calling while honoring his legacy, while counting it all in joy along the journey.

He will always be my FOREVER first love. I love you, Daddy.

Leadership is cultivated early—through exposure, conversation, and example.

I had the honor of serving as a panelist for Shaping Young Leaders: Women’s Stories of Growth and Courage at Banneker Middle School, hosted by Crittenton Services. Engaging with these young women and sharing lessons from my journey alongside fellow panelists was both impactful and inspiring.

Grateful to contribute to spaces that empower young women to lead with confidence, resilience, and purpose.
