Thrilled to say my new single ‘My Mum’s Hometown’ is now out in the world! It’s the first single to be taken from my second album, ‘Orphans’ out sometime in 2027. This is a deeply personal song dealing in grief & trying to find identity & a place to call home when your parents have passed away. The town it refers to is Hebburn, a lovely little place on the South of the river Tyne. All proceeds from the first month of Bandcamp sales & CD single sales will go to @hebburnhelps, the local food bank.

The single is back by two B-sides (cos I’m old school!) called ‘All My Friends’ & ‘One Breath.’ All tracks were recorded with @harbourmasterrr who also played additional instrumentation. ‘One Breath,’ is the first released track to feature my own very limited piano skills!

It’s available from all good (and bad) streaming sites but Bandcamp will get the money to Hebburn Helps. The link is in my bio.

I’ll be playing @the_globe_newcastle next Friday 16th October as part of the @mercuryprize fringe shows. Tickets are PWYF & also available from my bio! CD singles will also be on sale at the show!

Check out the music video - ‘Sick Of Myself’ - for the first single from our debut album, details of which will be incoming soon! The song was recorded by @harbourmasterrr & the video was shot at @firstavenuestudios & edited by Jade for a budget of exactly £0.00! Michael Jackson & Madonna can spend $5 million but hey, who needs it?! You can check out more no budget music videos & live shows at our YT site, just search our name or click to the link through our bio!

You can catch us at our next show at @thecluny with @thed1rt & @snakeswithtitsband on Sunday 18th October 2026 with doors at 12! Yes, 12! Queer punk on a Sunday morning! It’s either us or church… 🤨 Tickets available now from our bio!

‘SMOKE AND MIRRORS’ IS OUT NOW!

You can listen on Spotify, Apple Music, and all the rest. We hope you enjoy!

Final thanks to @harbourmasterrr productions for making it happen, you were a pleasure to work with and we’d love to again.

To @tyleracourt , we hope you know how much we appreciated having you there, you and your photography are class and this release wouldn’t have been anywhere near as good without you around.

Finally, on a personal note to @boejeall and @benjiman1487, you both contributed so much to this track and it wouldn’t have been possible without you, mint people to have as pals as well as musicians, thanks so much to the pair of you.

Made* a lyric video for our new single, 'Plastic'.

*downloaded a cool old Ub Iwerks animation from 1937 and put some subtitles over the top...

Just a guitar part that ended up being in a @hingedtheband song. I had a time-stretched version of it and they were so kind to agree for me to re-use it.

Daniel Clifford and Harbourmaster helped with all the rest, as usual.

'So What?' ended up being a short intro before 'City of Wind', but I wanted to celebrate it separately, in a way.

Today it is out on all the streaming platforms and if you are one of the few reading until this point, I hope you enjoy ❤️🎵

*OUT NOW!*

We're very proud to bring you our third single, 'Plastic', which just so happens to be our favourite one so far.
Follow the links in our bio to stream it from wherever you want to stream it from, but ultimately please just take some time out and enjoy some music (a wildly underrated thing to do...)

Without wanting to get on our soapbox, it feels important to say that as gentle as it may sound, this is *very much* an anti-far-right-fascist song. We're sick of minorities being scapegoated for everything, so we wanted to write a song promoting equality, community and inclusivity.

Because "we're all made of the same bones".

All our love, American Wrestling
