The last Sunday of October.

A poem by Rumi, as a little reminder to love while we can. 🖤

Let’s Love Each Other — Jalal al-Din Rumi

Let’s love each other,
let’s cherish each other, my friend,
before we lose each other.

You’ll long for me when I’m gone.
You’ll make a truce with me.
So why put me on trial while I’m alive?

Why adore the dead but battle the living?

You’ll kiss the headstone of my grave.
Look, I’m lying here still as a corpse,
dead as a stone. Kiss my face instead!

— Jalal al-Din Rumi
Translation by Haleh Liza Gafori, Gold: Poems by Rumi (2022).

Blending in with the scenery? No, darling - *being* the scenery.
Just Alf casually color coordinating with greek-gold scenery. #τηνος #ελλαδα #tinos #greece

The amount of beautiful things in your life depends on your ability to notice them.

Am I right, or am I right? 😊

Life can be as simple as that, if you ask me ❤️

Here are a few of those special moments on our recent @beppeyoga retreat 🧘‍♂️ ✨️ A big, gorgeous Greek thank you to the whole gang - you are all stars :)

I'm feeling grounded, grateful, and very loved x

The beach is where my mind goes when it needs peace, where my soul feels most at home, and where I dream of one day waking up every morning. It’s no surprise that I when I organise my longer retreats they are always near the coast.
In yoga, Pratyahara is the practice of turning our attention inward, away from the constant pull of the external world. For me the beach is a reminder of this. The sound of the waves, the endless horizon, the feeling of space. Somehow everything becomes quieter and I reconnect with the awareness that is always there beneath the noise.
Where does your mind go when you need peace?
