Sunday at @hamptondownsnz
2nd round of CFMoto Auckland Motorcycle Club Champs. Good round of local racing featuring racing from green newcomers giving it a go for the 1st time to national talent getting their seat time in ahead of nationals kicking off later this year to a NZSBK champion giving us a good show on the track.

Since this isn't my typical photography stuff, I wanted to share the random sht I got on my phone for yall to show "the life" around the paddock so to speak.
Thanks to everyone for dealing with my crckhead energy and putting a good show for us for the day.
The sun is so angry already at this point of the year that im actually not looking forward to the summer at all despite being really excited for all the upcoming racing.

Pictured: @mitchrees92 and @dave.sharp19 waiting at tech inspection in the morning to get their bikes cleared for racing :)

@cameronleslieracing having a good yarn with the orange army in the morning as he has visited them multiple times throughout his racing career (lmao) which got everyone very well acquainted with him, and on top of that he always acknowledges all marshalls at the end of every race with waving and giving them a bit of a show to show his appreciation to them, hence the mutual love between him and them :)

Quick little photo session for the honda team in the morning before racing started, featuring the Boss man himself, Wayne 💪

@dylan.byrne37 and @dave.sharp19 working together for the day, Dave was showing Dylan all the cool menu features on his triple R fireblade!

Welcome to Team Honda 2026-2027.
@hondamotulracingnz
These are my best pics from Sundays race bike test day organised by @dave.sharp19 at @taupomotorsportpark
Sunday was a great day. Weather was kind of all over the place, the morning started cold but warmed up as the sun was out, but the constant changes with cloud cover coming and going which made the wind pretty chilly, but, with multiple layers on the body it was decently warm.
Team honda was testing their new cbr600rr Supersport bikes, it was good to see, especially @mitchrees92 giving the 600 a test around the track, which as an outsider was cool to see him on a different bike to his fireblade superbike.
@zakfuller_ was also putting in great laps on the 600, nice to see him giving it a good send. @cameronleslieracing also got to have a session to spin some laps on the 600rr which is a very different bike to his cbr650r sportsbike racebike.
@harrietrides was putting in solid work getting used to her cbr650r racebike too!
@elijahracing75 was announced as the newest rider joining the honda racing team on his cbr500r which was awesome to see. Great time all around 💪.

Though I would make some cheeky content while down here in Toupo helping out @cameronleslieracing and @harrietrides on their @hondamotulracingnz cbr650’s, definitely a bit less fun being pit boy instead of rider but anytime spent around bikes is good time!
And really cool to see both riders developing themselves and their machines to operate at 100%

AMCC Round 1 2026
Was such an awesome day, watching the battles in the different classes, and seeing the skills of all the riders!

Was a bit slack at posting the photos, but as a reminder, the photos are available on my website for purchase.

Bit wet out there, eh? 🌧️

Good thing the Bridgestone W01 thrives in it! 🏍

@harrietrides putting the W01's to good use on boxing day race two at the @cemeterycircuitofficial on boxing day 2025! 🏁

Harriet's impressive skills on the W01s got her two seconds a lap quicker than second place for the second race of the day!

Harriet also walked away from Whanganui being the first solo woman to ever win, in its 74 years of it being run!! 🏆

Another big congratulations from the team here at @bridgestone_new_zealand 🤝

KOC Rnd 4 / Season final

1 weekend, 3 bikes and a bunch of fine people.

Felt at peace on the R3, maybe to peaceful. Second race of the day having my personal favorite race so far, the bike told me to stop, snapping the intake camshaft and ending the day.
Wabam, not so fast, the days not over. For the final race Anson lent me his R3. With a different setup to what im used to I was happy to just get out on the track and finish the final race of the season. Cheers @ansonhja

Final race weekend was also a good chance for me to make that next step up and hop on over into a bucket. During the qualifying, I found out they can pop off the gear selector, leaving me stranded in fourth. Sorted it out by the second race. Thanks to the other bucket fellas who knew the issue before I pulled into the pits. This let me race with one of my idols Ryder for the final race before he left me for dust in the final lap.

As its the end of the season I wanna thank everyone and anyone that made it to the track, organized the days, volunteered and and just came out to have a good time. We appreciate that.
