“Monday Cover”

Our long awaited custom billet valve covers from @badomanclassics have landed stateside. These are everything I was hoping them to be and even more. The look and fit on the engine is killer especially for a 1st generation product fresh off the @haas_automation 3 axis machine.

These will definitely help this build stand apart from the others…this isn’t just another engine dress up kit…these parts are meant to help express the soul of the build that no matter how old the truck get they deserve something special!

Ambrosia Maple bed floor completed in @mscautotransport 64 Chevy C-20 Dually. Rough cut lumber delivered from Beach Dog Hardwoods in Virginia, milled locally, shaped in house and finished with @kustomgrain semi-gloss clear. The mechanical hatch in the floor uses @eddiemotorsports hinges for access to the fuel tank and suspension. Another access panel was added in each of the front corners for battery access. One-piece inner bedsides and @hart_fab raised bed floor tubs were finished in matte green.

The custom parts by @badomanclassics have landed for @neto71gmc build…and first impression is that my expectations were EXCEEDED beyond my dreams!

When you look at the parts you can tell they are beautiful but when you hold the pieces and feel how the hardware fits and the weight of it all the quality matches the looks. These are not just parts that look pretty these are parts made to last!!

I honestly don’t even know what to say right now… I’m still trying to wrap my head around all of this!

This year, the Suburban has earned a Golden Ticket to the 2026 SEMA Battle of the Builders Young Guns competition AND been named the 2026 @goodguysrodandcustom Next Generation winner presented by @goolsbycustoms .

To be recognized by either of these shows is an incredible honor. To have both happen in the same year is something I never could have imagined. I’m beyond excited, a little nervous, and if I’m being honest, still freaking out a little bit!

Three years ago, this was a completely torn-down Suburban in my dad’s garage. Countless weekends were spent working on it, figuring things out as I went, and trying to build something I could be proud of. Seeing it lead to opportunities like these is hard to put into words.

Huge thank you to my dad for letting me use his garage and for being a part of this journey with me. Thank you to my family, my friends, and the Negative Camber family for believing in me and my work and supporting me along the way.

Thank you to all of the companies that have been a part of this build. From the parts and products that went into it to the people who answered questions, helped solve problems, and supported the vision, you’ve all played a part in getting us here.
