Written by the brilliant Katori Hall, this play has always held a special place in my heart. Having portrayed Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. onstage myself, stepping into the director’s chair gave me an entirely different opportunity to explore the man behind the icon. His humanity, humor, vulnerability, and the weight of knowing that tomorrow is never promised. A huge congratulations to our incredible cast, Hassiem Muhammad (Dr. King) and Kendra Holloway (Camae), along with Petra Hinds, our Camae understudy.
