The best matcha pop up in Old Elk Grove! ✨️✨️

@haus_of_aloha has been popping up in Old Elk Grove since December and she'll be back a couple more times in January in the @homegrown_inc parking lot!

The drinks are absolutely amazing!! From the flavors, to the sauces, to the presentation everything is sooo delicious! You can really tell all the love and details that go into the drinks 😋✨️

@haus_of_aloha is even making sea moss now, which I'm super excited to try!

Recently went to one of @haus_of_aloha popups in Elk Grove, and was very impressed at her beautiful drink concoctions with some are blended with tropical flavors. Plus, the syrups are all homemade ✨

+ Matcha banana & fig honeycomb - Lightly sweeter than the kulolo princess I tried, but definitely ✨not too sweet✨. The banana and fig honeycomb combo worked really well together.

+ Hojicha kulolo princess - LOVE the hojicha. It has a deep roasted nutty taste, and the kulolo syrup and ube cream didn’t mask. Well balanced drink.

🍵🎀 The Grinch Matcha & Viral NYC Hot Cocoa~ My hubby and I enjoyed our festive drinks @haus_of_aloha served with pretty pink bows and heart shaped straws! I especially loved the delicious vanilla bean, toasted marshmallow fluff on my hot cocoa!

🙏💖 Thank you @haus_of_aloha for the invite, chef @hausoffusion was so sweet and had the cutest little trailer! Today’s her birthday, so I had to leave a nice tip! She’ll be having another popup @homegrown_inc on the 28th from 10:00AM-4:00PM!

Dear Me- You’ve had a rough time in the past with prioritizing work and play. Always feeling like the hustle is worth the pay off when really it’s the time with ppl you were losing. Life feels lighter lately bc you’re making the moments you have count. Life is still busy but the boundaries you have created with who you let in anymore has paid dividends. Keep fighting the good fight, keep your eye on the prize but give yourself a break would ya? Theres so much happening around you - and if you not careful it will all pass you by. Proud of you tho- your keeping your word to yourself - the life you always wanted is what your living , never forget that xx T

two of my fave things — matcha and plants 🥹🪴✨

visited @chef_anastacia at her a hui hou (for now!) matcha pop-up at @paikohawaii! it was so nice to finally meet in person 🤍 the matchas were all super aesthetic and very refreshing on such a hot day :)

i got the pandan tonic matcha. it’s esp a good choice for pandan lovers! 🥥 i think personally i thought the pandan overpowered the matcha flavor, but it was refreshing and super cute 🎀 i also tried my friends’ passion fantasy matcha (lots of tart notes from both the lilikoi and the yuzu honey cream) & butter mochi matcha (quite sweet, the brown sugar flavor is prominent but the cloud top does taste like butter mochi!). she uses @amimeimatcha which i approve of 👌🏼 next time i’ve got my eye on the earl gray one! 🫖

i also loved getting to meet @theleafyloaf_ & @divinelyguidedbeauty, and snagged a sticker from @haus_of_aloha’s @candicedoodles collab! 🍵 and then i bought myself two pretty anthuriums bc why not 😌

if you didn’t get to make it to this a hui hou event, keep your eyes out 👀 even though she’s moving, Anastacia does plan to come back periodically and do more pop-ups! 🫶🏼

LAVENDER CLOUD MATCHA

🍵 Ceremonial whisked matcha
🥥 Organic coconut water
🪻 Lavender crafty syrup @hausoffusion
☁️ Topped w/ lavender matcha cold foam

TO MAKE CLOUD FOAM:
1. Begin by whisking matcha with a small amount of water to achieve a paste-like consistency.

2. Next, incorporate heavy cream, lavender syrup, lavender powder, and unflavored colostrum (optional).

3. Add a pinch of celtic salt, which is essential for binding and enhancing the flavors.

4. Finally, blend the mixture with a mixer until you reach your desired consistency.
