POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

ARCHITECTS are shape shifters and storytellers who transform a client’s dreams, memories, and daily rhythms into a living narrative, subtly sculpting spaces that guide habits, evoke emotion, and harmonize light, form, and function.

As the composers of an intricate symphony, we weave every element—structure, material, proportion, and flow—into a single, cohesive masterpiece where beauty, utility, and human experience resonate in perfect, enduring accord.

WOOD INTERIORS LOWER STRESS

The key is that it’s REAL wood and untreated. Clear coat is fine, but let pine be pine, not a stained version trying to look like walnut. The authenticity of the material is what sets our bodies at ease.

Lucky I’m so delulu. I wanted a one stop shop with all my fave builders, mould remediators, architects, healthy home experts, materials, products, consultants and suppliers in one place. Somewhere where clients can go to find my go-to people and products. All in one place. So I’m building it. #Healthyhome #healthyhomedirectoy #nontoxicliving #wellnessarchitect #havendesigned

Do you have whole home water filtration or have you ever considered it?

Especially here in South Australia, we have hard water. This means that it is naturally rich in calcium and magnesium due to the mineral rich soil and limestone we have locally. Filtering your water can help protect your appliances from limescale buildup and make cleaning easier. It also tastes a lot better!

The final episode for 2025 of The Building Sciology Poddie is out today!

Episode #26 with Pippa Lee from @haven_designed_healthy_homes is out wherever you get your podcasts. Pippa is an architect turned healthy home consultant who specialises in nurseries and whole home water filtration systems.

New furniture, clothing curtains etc emit high levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) so it’s important to think about the ingredients in not just our food, but our furniture and clothing too. Especially for infant nurseries, where our most vulnerable loved ones sleep.

Thank you for tuning in this year, see you back on 5th Jan with the 2026 season!

Your home is more than where you live—it’s your third skin. 🏡✨

In midlife, it becomes the backdrop for everything: rest, repair, connection, reinvention. 🖇️

This week on In the Saddle, I interviewed healthy home architect @haven_designed about how to design a space that actually supports your wellness—not just your Pinterest board. 📌

From detox tips to design for nervous system regulation, Pippa dropped SO many gems. 💎

Swipe for my favorite quotes, then drop HOME in the comments and I’ll DM you the full piece. It’s a must-read for anyone craving a space that feels as good as it looks. 💌

BEAUTIFULLY DRAWN. A custom-finished Arte Dresser takes a starring role in this chic vignette by Pip + Pencil, a full-service consultancy taking a holistic design approach to improve health and wellbeing. Definitely a refreshing perspective serving a valuable need.
