Ticked off NZ cross country, my first one mic’d up! Always a privilege to get these athletes’ stories celebrated, heard, and HYPED! The quality of our wee country’s running blows me away every time, makes the job too easy. 😎 This last 12 months cutting my teeth as an MC with the excellent company of @haydenshearman @jasonnz71 @holly_manning @oskabaynes (and more!) has helped me fall in love with the sport all over again in a different way. Thanks to everyone who’s helped along the way (and corrected my pronunciation of names 👀) Stoked to get into some more events tee’d up over the rest of the year. For now though, time to hose down my sneakers again 😭 📸 @kateatkinsoncreative (so good!) and as always @chase_astwood_ 🥰🎥

I love: Rotorua Marathon weekend, MCing, and events‼️🥰🫶 Crazy fun weekend getting to celebrate finishers’ stories, months of training, family legacies- it never gets old. This event is the O.G NZ marathon, iconic and Grandad’s favourite race for a reason 🤷‍♂️ @holly_manning @haydenshearman were elite partners on the mic 🫶 Stepping into MCing after chilling on the competitive running front has been the hugest blessing. I get to take my knowledge & passion for the sport and give back to people experiencing it for perhaps the first time- how good 🫶 it just makes sense! See you at the next one- running or yapping 🗣️ who knows 😙 yay!
