Feeling filled to the brim with gratitude after the Cultures Of Peoria Holiday Market 🌲

Each year, so many people come together to make this event happen. 36 vendors across 2 days. Mostly from Peoria as well surrounding areas as far as Bloomington, Galesburg, Urbana & beyond to participate. Grateful to have so much help making it happen. @hbee_art has been a big support throughout the whole process. Big shout out to @blowdmusic for running sound and coordinating with the musicians. @premier_peoria for once again being host and helping things flow smoothly.

Even being 2 days, it goes by in a flash. A little whirlwind of local shopping action. A little burst of sales for 3 dozen local businesses. A quick chance to subvert the clutches of corporations who wish to sell us lame junk around the holidays.

The lineup was stacked with great vendors this year and both days had a steady flow of people. Rad to see Peoria people show up so big for something like this. Also rad to talk with people from out of town who came to Peoria solely because of the market.

All these incredible photos were done by the magnificent @taylorkatinasphotography

Happy to confirm this will be an annual thing,
so we’ll see ya back in there next holiday season

The Cultures of Peoria Holiday Market starts tomorrow 12/7!

✨️ Saturday 4pm to 8pm
🎁 Sunday 10am to 2pm

The photos are from last years market taken by @taylorkatinasphotography!

Except the 3rd photo of @crumblesonthecounter booth 😅 I took that one myself lol I tried to blend it in with the vibe of her photos. Did it work? Kinda sorta not really 😋

I don't know who made the sweet christmas trees or beautiful plates and bowls in the photo 🥲 if you know them, please tag ty! (I could probably dig and find them but i'm being lazy)

I hope to see ya this weekend ❤️ I'm currently packing and tying bows on all the boxes.

You can still order ahead to pick up at this market! www.crumblesonthecounter.com
I made all flavors so I could whip up a specialty box quickly.

Scenes from the holiday market 2023

Round 3 of this holiday market kicks off soon!

Saturday 12/7 4-8
Sunday 12/8 10-2

Come enjoy some local holiday cheer at Premier Event Center!
Over 3 dozen vendors.
Live music.
Full bar.
Coffee drinks from @zioncoffeeco
Wood fired pizza by @twd.pizzeria

All your friends who are good influences are gonna be there. Follow the advice of the friends in your circle sharing about this community gathering. Don’t sleep on it then see pictures and think “damn I really messed up not going to that market. Could have got cool stuff from locals instead I’m over here stressing about tracking and driving all around town gathering things up”

It’s a tragically easy situation to end up in. If you’re reading this there’s likely still time to subvert that embarrassing disaster of misstep this holiday season.

Come to the market. Being friends. Grab a drink. Knock off some of your holiday shopping in a low stress environment 🧘‍♀️

All the incredible photos in this post were done by the magnificent @taylorkatinasphotography 📸

ps ~ it’s free event so there’s really no excuses 🤑

Mark your calendars!! The yArt Sale is one week away!

Sharing some photos of the last @project1612 yArt Sale so you can see how Jessica’s garden fills up with gorgeous local art. (My daughter Hallie was just 2 months old and being loved on by her lifelong friend Finley!)

If you’re not in Morton, trust me, it’s worth the drive. You can stop by our friends at @elis_coffee for a fall treat and make a day of it.

To all artists who’ve already donated: WE ARE SO GRATEFUL!
