I lost… but I WON! 🏆✨

I won an evening surrounded by friends, colleagues and peers whose work I so deeply admire — people who, in one way or another, have been instrumental in my journey. Through support, inspiration, opportunity, friendship… and often all of the above.

My heart is VERY full. ❤️

You know who you are — but I’m tagging a few very special humans here. 🥂✨

A special thank you to @nbcuniversal! @ryandflynn11 @mattreichman @the_insta_graham__ for continuing to open doors, champion directors and make room for new voices. 🙏

And HUGE gratitude to the entire @magicalelves family: Casey Kriley, @josharon + the magical @doneen123 for trusting me with your beautiful show and giving me the opportunity to do what I absolutely love. And Patrick Schmedeman of course!

I may not have taken home the statue…

but …did I win. 🏆✨

What. A. Night. 🎬

Final Emmy voting is almost open, and we’re celebrating the artistry behind Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Brooklyn, nominated for Outstanding Production Design for a Variety or Reality Series.

This Brooklyn edition brought late-night television into a world full of New York character — warm, graphic, funny, and specific. From the main set sofa and guest chairs upholstered by Omega using fabric from F&S, to the Nathan’s awning. Giving the set that perfect Coney Island look, every detail helped bring Brooklyn into the room.

The set was constructed by the ABC set and paint shop at Prospect in Hollywood, bringing Brooklyn character to life through classic Hollywood craftsmanship.

Last night felt like a dream. It was an incredible honor to have been nominated for Jimmy Kimmel Live’s very first Art Director’s Guild Award in the Variety/Reality Series category. It was such a special event and it really felt good to be in a room with so many talented and inspiring peers, many of whom are beloved friends. The world is in turmoil right now and last night provided some much needed escapism. It was fun to get gussied up with Production Designer @artcat829 and Art Director @hillarieb We were representing a large team of talented folks including graphic artists, scenics, set dressers, buyers, teamsters and on and on. The true secret to our craft is collaboration. I feel blessed to have my dream job, with my dream work family, especially at this volatile time in our industry. I don’t take any of this for granted. It was nice to see so many happy faces and it gave me hope that things will turn around. Sending love to all!
