➡️ Laina from Best Day Ever!
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Ready to get sweaty? Or detox before you retox? In this episode of Best Day Ever with Chris and Laina, the ladies head to City Sweats to experience Washington’s original infrared sauna studio and spa. They learned that infrared sauna helps target inflammation and provides a deep, detoxifying sweat. Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared saunas don’t heat the air around you - it warms your body directly to easily penetrate human tissue. It’s very breathable inside and a session is 45 mins long. @citysweats City Sweats is located at 4755 Fauntleroy Wy SW Suite 170, Seattle, WA 98116 Hours: 9am-6pm Tuesdays - Saturdays; 9am-6pm Sundays; closed Mondays Phone: 206.420.1934 🎥 @ryan.cory Produced by @headspinagency Laina’s necklace, earrings & bracelets provided by @menashejewelers @menasheandsons Laina’s hair by @cocoandcoseattle Laina’s glasses from @wseattleoptix #westseattlejunction #westseattle #westseattleliving #westseattlelife #westseattlevibes #ryancory #wsbestseattle #westseattlebestseattle #westseattlewa #westseattleisthebestseatte #westseattlebusiness #westseattlelocal #westseattleliving #westseattlevibes #westseattlelove #westseattlelife #curiocityseattle #westseattleblog #bestdayever #infrared #womanowned #locallyowned #citysweats #infraredtherapy #seattlebusiness #selfcare #naturalwellness #womanownedbusiness

The outdoor floats had some beautiful stories - swipe through to put a smile on your face! Hamilton Viewpoint Park I just moved to the Admiral neighborhood this past May and I absolutely love it! This hunt helped me explore the nooks and hidden gems of my new community. It was great getting to watch the sunrise from my favorite viewpoint and finding the little treasure tucked away in a beautiful tree. Cheers West Seattle! ~ Chase @Chasemeee  Ercolini Park We got up bright and early to hunt for our float and we’re so excited to find it at one of our favorite parks! ~ Kristi @burresskristi E.C. Hughes Park My son Remi and I took our morning walk to the park nearby our house! It’s our first weekend here, we just moved from Redmond. I am 5th generation WS and now my son Remi is 6th generation! Clever hiding spots and fun stories! Swipe to check them out!  Cottage Grove Park We looked all along Constellation Path for 2 hours, then stopped at the neighborhood park 2 blocks from our house and found it there. Such a FUN way to end the journey. Thanks for the fantastic adventure!! ~ Drew Rotary Viewpoint So much fun! We hunted many spots, met and talked to shop owners and other hunters. It felt like a wonderful community of people. The bonus is that I got to spend time with my daughter. ~ Lori  Me-Kwa-Mooks We started looking around California Ave but headed towards Alki after not finding anything! It was such an experience to be driving down Alki and hearing "found one!" We found it under the benches in the park. Being able to get up this early - being an early bird - and having something to do like this was a great experience! ~ Sarah @Sarah_klinger_ Schmitz Park A dedicated hunt for a West Seattle Float while walking the dog through Schmitz park. Out of the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of an orange hue in a tree hollow. Immediately beelined to the tree and to my enjoyment I found an orange and yellow shaded float! The excitement of the hunt with meager hopes of actually finding a float were elevated tenfold upon placing one in my hand. Forever a memory and a future hunting excursions that I will surely partake in. To quench our thirst from the exhilarating hunt we retired to West Seattle Brewing Co for a cold brew! ~ Daylynn Weather Watch I went out for a morning stroll mostly to enjoy the low tide and to do a bit of bird spotting. I spotted my lovely new orb right after I saw a great blue heron. My heron friend gets the assist!!! ~ Peter @Boxtoboxelder Lowman Beach My friends and I went out walking this morning looking for them starting at the south end of Lincoln Park. I found this by wandering Lowan Beach and looking in and under all the logs. We’re all so excited that someone in our group found one. ~ Anonymous Top Schmitz Park, bottom Lowman Beach, Right Hamilton Viewpoint #wsfloathunt #wschamber #westseattlejunction #scavengerhunt #westseattle @westseattlejunction @westseattlechamber @avalonglassworks @pecospit @headspinagency

“I’m a fairly new West Seattle resident. I was so excited to find the final float at a site devoted to the very first people to call this place home. Afterwards, I browsed the Duwamish Longhouse exhibits, bought a Native Northwest towel in the gift shop, then went to celebrate with a plate of breakfast tacos at El Chapulin Oaxaqueno. “After waking up early and taking a long walk on the beach, where I saw a few people with floats, I had given up when I remembered I needed a gift for later today. Instead of a big box store, I headed to True Value for some supplies for a project and then into NW Art & Frame for a gift. Several people were waiting outside to see if they could find a float! I was being indecisive, I headed down for a beading bracelets kit and right by my eyes was the float! Serendipity! Hope the others looking today find their floats!” ~ Robin @robinmama26 Located in the heart of the West Seattle Junction, we offer an enormous selection of picture frames (both custom and ready-made) with knowledgeable framing designers and staff to help guide you through your whole framing experience. “We only found out about the hunt last Saturday morning around 10 and thought it would be a fun activity for our 5-year-old daughter. By the time we got to the Junction many of the floats had been found. We were actually supposed to fly out to Maui for vacation this morning but that got cancelled so we decided to take another shot at finding a float this week. We came early this time to hit up all the bakeries and coffee shops but had no luck, so we played at Ercolini Park until stores opened up. After returning to the Junction we were headed to A La Mode, but passed by Vain. I had been wanting to go in to look at stuff so my husband suggested I look on my own while he took the kids to find a float elsewhere. I almost missed it because it blended in so well with the color of their sunglasses but I finally found one! My daughter was so excited when she saw it. Thank you WSJA, WSCC, and Avalon Glassworks for providing such a fun activity to get to know the community a little better.” ~ Michelle Kim VAIN is a hair salon and boutique dedicated to personal style exploration. “My girlfriend, Zelda has been talking nonstop about finding a float since the first batch was placed. I had a feeling there might be one in Phoenecia if it hadn’t been found yet.
