Yesterday Me & My babies went to say goodbye to the old Heal Building. We are so excited to see what’s in store for @healmpls because Heal, has given so much to this community especially @holisticbaae and they forever apart of our family. I remember around this time 3 years ago I stumble upon heal mpls and I was captivated by the energy in the space. I reached out to Sierra about doing an event called Mama’s House. It was only suppose to be a one time thing to gather all the artists I really admired into one space. I soon realized that space carried so much energy because Sierra had brick by brick built the environment of Heal to be safe, inspiring and healing. Sierra believed in me from the start, before I even believed in myself. I didn’t have a big following, I didn’t come highly regarded, I was just an artist with an idea, and she helped turned my ideas into dreams and dreams into realities . There would be no Mamas house without Heal & Sierra. They helped me create a home for creatives, and it’s always been a home to me. I’ve made so many life changing connections, had some of the best times of my life, cried in this space. When I have struggled Sierra has made sure my family was fed. I’ve watched people in community come in dealing with sickness and she create herbal healing solutions, I’ve watched her feed the homeless. Run the register the kitchen all while attending a business meeting, she’s Hosted support groups in heal , created a safe space for youth to hang out on the north side, she’s really used her space to serve the community. It’s hard to say goodbye to a space that holds so much history but I am confident that the Impact Heal now gets to have ,expanding to St. Paul, now being able to serve 2 communities, is a gift that will continue to give. Please Support Sierra, give her, her flowers , support heal as it expands. Community needs spaces like this , and people like this to thrive. #forevergrateful♥️

BLACK BOY JOY ART & AWARENESS SHOWCASE 🎨 A powerful showcase featuring @toloudcrosby and @iam.m.e_ Art, highlighting Black men, creativity, and self-expression. This showcase will include a documentary exploring the struggles and stereotypes Black men face today, while celebrating their many contributions to art and society. Come experience the art, hear the stories, support Black creativity, and be part of a meaningful celebration of Black Boy Art. Event is free. POV: You spent your Saturday with Black and melanated women healing in community 🤎✨ Hosted by HEAL🌱 Minneapolis, over 100 women were welcomed together to heal, grow, and reconnect with ourselves and each other💗. Seasoned local healers led our collection through various healing modalities such as: • Sound healing🔔 • Herbal remedies🍵 • Breath recalibration🫁 • Shadow work🪞 • Fire release🕯️ • and more! Queen Afua, author of “Sacred Woman” and Mother of Womb Wellness🪷, blessed us with her presence, guiding us through her sacred womb yoga practice 🧘🏾‍♀️and mentoring us on healing practices for our minds, bodies, and spirits. It was a truly magical and uplifting experience💫🌟🌙 From start to finish, this day was full of so many gems💎 ✨. So much love to all the women who poured into this beautiful space!!🫂💓
