Gather with us as we celebrate the energy of Lughnasadh—the first harvest festival in the Wheel of the Year. This is a powerful seasonal shift to gather what’s grown, offer gratitude, and honor both our hard work and the art of letting go.✨ The Experience: Seasonal Alignment: Lisa Marie will guide us through a reflective harvest ceremony and embodiment practices to help us fully sink into the fertile energy of the season. Reiki Sound Bath: Cindi Fisse, Certified Sound Healing Practitioner and Reiki Master, will then support us in integrating and anchoring it all through a deeply restorative, Reiki-infused sound bath.

When: April 11
Where: Dunsmuir’s 2nd Saturday Artwalk @heartbloomyoga
Time: 4:00-6:00PM

Description:
Our lungs are the primary organs of the respiratory system, bringing oxygen into the bloodstream for cellular energy while releasing carbon dioxide. They also filter, humidify, and warm the air we breathe, using mucus and cilia to protect the body from dust and microbes.

In many healing traditions, the lungs are also where grief is held. This emotional landscape can be intensified by smoke exposure, whether from fire season or tobacco.

Here in Siskiyou County we are surrounded by plants that offer deep support for respiratory health. Prepared as teas, tinctures, or steams, local herbal medicines can help soothe irritated lungs and strengthen the body’s natural defenses.

Join us for an exploration of the plants and practices that support respiratory health, with special attention to the herb most commonly associated with smoke.
