Iron sharpens iron. @coachjimmyrooney talks and we listen. On this mat, every lesson is earned, every setback teaches, and every teammate helps build something stronger. Moms, Dads, students, professionals, teachers, nurses, doctors, pilots, musicians and people enjoying their retirement, we all walk off the mat with learning something new. #bjj #jiujitsugirls #bjj4life #ghcp #bjjgirls

7 & 7’s was a hit, 7 rounds 7 minutes long.. the perfect way to close out one sequence and pave the way for the next.

This week, we wrapped up our 6am Gi sequence focusing on Turtle Control and situational training. We covered a lot of fundamental techniques while also building on submissions, transitions, and control concepts. Everyone walked away with some new tools added to the toolbox.

Starting Monday, we’ll move into our next sequence: Arm Bar Fundamentals and Situations. Over the next 4–6 weeks, we’ll explore arm bars from a variety of positions and scenarios, continuing to sharpen and expand everyone’s game.

Big thanks to our amazing coaches @jason_hemenway_ @coachjimmyrooney for the great classes, detailed instruction, and patience throughout the sequence. Our coaches rock! #jiujitsu #graciehumaita #cedarpark #gi #bjj
