We’re excited to welcome 2 incredible local bands to the stage at Good Food Fest this year: Frog Holler Band and Heather Hurlock!

@froghollerband (1-4pm)
"Neo-hillbillies with a twist, Frog Holler plays mountain blues, country and bluegrass as accessible and modern as the most hummable pop” (Washington Post) “As apt to produce a belly laugh as a tear, but sure to make you feel something every time.” (Cosmik Debris)Frog Holler began in Kutztown, PA in the late nineties, signed on with Philadelphia's, Record Cellar label, releasing 7 full length records and an EP over 25+ years. Songwriter, Darren Schlappich's songs are backed by the communal playing of longtime friends and bandmates, Mike Lavdanski on banjo and harmony vocals, John Kilgore on electric guitar, bassist Josh Sceurman, Daniel Bower on drums, and Cory Heller on keyboards. In 2024 Frog Holler traveled to Alaska to headline the Anchorage Folk Festival, to Chicago for Lc Fest, and released a new 5 song EP, For the Ages.

“Well-written, well-played, mark them as special. (Sylvie Simmons, Mojo Magazine)

@heatherhurlock (11am-12:30pm)
Heather Hurlock crafts cinematic dream-folk songs steeped in poetic storytelling, emotional depth, and the power of connection. Based outside rural Chester County, PA, she's best known as the frontwoman of Tin Bird Choir and now steps into a new chapter with a solo project that blends indie Americana with atmospheric folk and rich vocal harmonies.

Two singles from her forthcoming debut, Winter Birds and Meet Me at Moonrise, have already begun making waves, earning a spot on the Folk Music Radio Chart. With more music on the horizon, Hurlock continues to build a body of work that hums with warmth and resonates long after the last note fades. Follow along at heatherhurlock.com

Last weekend I got to do my favorite thing in the whole wide world: sing my ass off with all of my favorite people in the middle of the woods, officially ✅ on ✅ triple ✅ duty ✅ Sike! Then also jumped up for two more! #illsleepwhenimdead

I car camped, cooked cheesesteaks outside, laid around in a hammock, sang Tom Waits in front of a campfire til 2am, hung out with the best of the best, saw a bunch of really awesome music, and actually did get some decent sleep (I think) 😴💃🏼🤷🏻‍♀️

The warmest thanks to @hezekiah_jones , @moonlightmonk and @peacefulwoodscamping for throwing one hell of a fest and working their asses off to put so many wonderful people together in once place that it reminds me oh yeah, this is the whole damn point 🤍

And as always, @lisaschafferphotography comin in hot as hell with these pics 🔥

Last night I learned if you are kind to people, they might buy your table a pitcher of Coors Light. 🍺 GREAT night with great folks. #phillynelson #flyeaglesfly 1st 📷: 😎 Oakley The only thing missing was a 17 page diner menu with everything from 🦞 to pancakes 🥞

Last night was an absolute blast - 💥 thank you so much to @babysfirstrodeo @phillynelsonband @moonlightmonk and @ardmoremusichall for inviting me to join in on the fun - and of course to @lisaschafferphotography for capturing the night 📸. @willienelsonofficial has such a diverse and vast catalogue of legendary songs and it was a true pleasure to perform them with this group of power house musicians and all around #goodfolks - let’s do it again rill soon y’all 🤠🤘🏻❤️

After last night I am fully convinced the music of @willienelsonofficial brings together the best of people for the best of times. Got to play a few of my Willie favorites with a killing band and a house full of very talented friends, new and old. Some pics from the one and only @lisaschafferphotography.

I’ll be back at Ardmore Music Hall this Sunday sitting in for a song with the fire-breathing @lowcutconnie for their New Year’s Eve buuuurrrrneeerrrr. If you’ve put New Year’s plans all the way off, I highly recommend coming and kicking in this New Year like you mean it!!!
