I’m taking a note from @zionadventurephotog and presenting Trail Tuesday.
Lots of people who visit Yosemite set their sights on huge, epic hikes like Clouds Rest or Half Dome. But, there are lots of hikes accessible to those of us who want or need something a little shorter.

This weekend I wanted to hike up Mist Trail because it was supposed to have lots of great fall foliage, but I didn’t want to spend all day on one trail. So, I did the 1.6 mile hike to the Vernal Falls Footbridge, which led me to this view.
It’s paved, but not for the faint of heart as it has a major elevation change in that .8miles. Take your time and enjoy the views of the river, the leaves, and majestic granite outcroppings.
To save your legs a bit, take the shuttle to Happy Isles Nature Center.

Do you see what I see?
If you hear there's a fiberglass @cowparadeslo art piece at the top of one of the Nine Sisters Peaks, you hike it!
