Producer Polaroids BTS from OH, THE HORROR! Show 07.19.26

Both onstage and off everyone made this show happen and production have so so many working parts to make a few hours onstage and keep the lights on the performers and on well - the performers put in hours and$ to their costumes and routine, producing and performing is A LOT of moving parts, audience and friends MATTER - the show happens and people get paid if you show up, and flawless tech is everything- most of which isn’t seen, but this show took a community to come ALIVEEEE onstage 🖤🕸️

So much live to everyone involved, pulling levers, onstage, and throwing dollars

TOMORROW NIGHT SUNDAY 07.19.26!
OH, THE HORROR! Brlsq & Drag Show!
Getting in the spirit of spooky (and for those of us who live and breathe it all year around), OH, THE HORROR! is an evening of eerie, electrifying, weird, and wonderful acts from a host of performers with work at the intersection of scary, s3xy, and strange.

To get a little serious, more than ever, supporting your local scene and spaces matters, when it comes to community and creating. More than ever creating and seeing/experiencing art and connection matters, and with local and independent shows/spaces, that supports the performers, artists, and people who work and run those things (often also people involved in scenes) directly. Stating this here as likely so many have seen recent news, with not just the venue for this show but so many others in precarious places, which affects not only spaces but individuals and communities on the whole.

Keep arts ALIVE (!), and even if you can’t attend, share, and support how you can your local shows/arts/artists 🖤

Your ghost host of the evening, @hedylamorte invites you in for a spook-tacular Summerween show on Sunday, 7/19!

Hedy Lamorte, Silver Scream Siren, beckons you into a night where glamour and the macabre entwine. Producing their first production, Hedy conjured a cast of cam and vamp for an evening of seductive shadows, thrills, and chills that blur the line between nightmare and fantasy. Hedy is a Metro Detroit Burlesque academy grad if 2023, has performed in a variety of shows in Detroit and Metro Detroit, specializing in horror- and cinema-inspired acts, creating their costumes, truly, if you will, from “re-vamping” and reusing vintage and vintage patterning. Some of their earliest memories was watching Universal monsters movies on a tube TV, reading gothic horror stories, and dressing up for Halloween, so they’re delighted to bring this stage production…ALIVE!

The light might shine on stage, but they invite you to enter the darkness, and for the evening, allow the shadows to s3duce you.
