Another fabulous trip around the sun. Forever grateful for my friends and family loving on me this weekend.

This past year has brought so much growth for me, truly recognizing that our time is valuable and we can choose who we want to spend it with, and share that time with.

My cup is full.
My heart is full.

Thank you so much for the love and all the birthday wishes!!

a little bit of that 100 mile magic 🥹

Thank you, @runrabbitrun100, for the memories.

Thank you @jordanfbk for capturing so many moments in the last 30 minutes, and @heidip89 for filming the finish and other moments throughout the day. My eyes were filled with tears crossing the finish line with my girls, dang near couldn't see nothing so I'm happy someone caught the action! 🤣

My first 100 mile finish at the Run Rabbit Run 100 Miler is one I'll forever hold close to my heart. This was a special race, and I'm still riding Cloud 9 from the epicness of the day(s).

There was never a doubt in my mind that I wasn't going to finish this race. Didn't really know when or how, but knew I could, and I crossed the finish line in 30 hours and 34 minutes.

I owe so much to my amazing crew and pacers, who I felt were quite literally with me every step of the way. Felt like I packed up my whole closet to be as prepared as I possible could be for the expected and unexpected conditions, and my crew was ready for whatever we needed to do to get me to the finish line. Thank you to my honey Cole, Heidi, and Jordan for being the true all-stars.

I had three big goals - 1] Finish the race. 2] Stay warm. 3] Run the last 10K, which was downhill on a ski road; and I was able to check all three of those off. Those goals structured my whole execution of the day.

My heart is full. My spirit is soaring. Thank you to my family, friends, and community for believing in me, following me, and sending messages - this is an experience I'll never forget. Can't wait to share more with you soon. 💞

As I reflect back on 2024, I can say it was definitely the year of 'self'. Not in a selfish way, but in a way of taking care of yourself so you can love yourself more and continue to love others more too.

I've been regularly seeing a great therapist who has helped me just simply, talk things out. Most of the time, I do all the talking and I can connect dots with a little bit of her guidance. I've also recognized that I absolutely have to have my own goals through all things in life, and that can be as simple as going to yoga once a week, signing up for a 100 mile race, working on one house project at a time, or making sure dishes are out of the sink at the beginning of the day.

I've learned better practices for work/life balance, had more meaningful time with friends and family, and some of my best running adventures to date.

One of my favorite moments of the year was running with Cole during Waldo 100k back in August. He thought we were going to break 14 hours, but we were a little bit further out from the finish than we thought. When we both realized this, Cole was behind me and spoke a gentle 'I'm proud of you' and that sent me into tears. The sub-14 hours wasn't really the big thing. The big thing was having a successfully executed race AND joyful training along the way.

As the 2024 chapter closed, I am so stoked for 2025! Also, I have an android and can only post 10 photos still. 🫠🫥

I'm feeling all the things right now post @waldo100k. I'm so proud of this race, the work, and everyone who made this day so incredibly special. Heidi sent me over these photos, and my eyes filled with tears again, remembering so many moments of joy during the race.

I couldn't have asked for a better day. Everything clicked. Nutrition, body, heart, and soul. Thank you to the incredible volunteers (Betsy at the Twins, you're amazing) and @lord_balls for a magical day and providing the safest experience for all runners possible. @heidip89 for being the best crew queen ever; her first time crewing (and snapping pics), and she was born to do it. @c0lewats0n I love you, and I'll cherish those 30 miles that we got to spend together. You pushed me so hard during the race and continued to inspire and motivate me throughout my whole training block.

For now, so much gratitude. So much love. So much appreciation. I think this race deserves a write up, so more to come soon. 💕
