I am so happy that I can now share the beautiful Rosie’s engagement ring! Keeping this stunning ring a secret has been tough but such a joy to bring to life for Danielle to propose in Crete last week.

I’ve known Rosie for several years now as a school mum, but she was also in my husband Marc’s school year right from prep school. Rosie has recently joined the wedding world by retraining as the most amazing celebrant. I had the privilege of seeing her at work at my bestie @redpeacockphotographyltd ‘s grandmother’s memorial, and it’s been incredible to watch her business grow and develop. If you’re in need of a celebrant, you must meet @heldbyrosie

But back to the ring! Danielle approached me at the @ampthill_wedding_show last year while supporting Rosie on her stand to discuss a possible engagement ring for Rosie and we not so subtly measured her ring size and looked at my metal samples.

Danielle fell in love with the warm tone of hazelnut gold and loved the idea of a fairly simple ring but with an orange centre stone to reflect Rosie’s favourite colour and the sunset in Crete where Danielle would be whisking Rosie off to.

She selected this SUNNING burnt orange diamond in a pear cut as the centre piece, claw set in hazelnut gold with a subtle heart shaped gallery bar at the round end of the stone.

It is always so humbling to be chosen to create these super symbolic and meaningful pieces for my clients, but it hits extra hard when it’s for someone I know!

Both Danielle @thesundaeserviceuk and Rosie are the most beautiful souls and I’m so glad they’ve each other. Both of these ladies have the most incredible calming aura. Danielle is Rosie’s biggest hype girl and super fan as well as her partner in life. I could not be happier for them 🫶

And my love surprised me with team T-shirts…

And our big girl was loading my bar…

And I lifted among some amazing women…

And vomited on my shoes between snatches and clean & jerks…

And hadn’t seen anything above 85kg in training for over a year but put up 97kg on the day…

And received The Crown of Greatness…
And a fat medal…

And then ate ice cream & went down the fastest zip line in the world…
And felt really freakin HAPPEH 🤩😌🫶🏾

Yeah. That time…
73/97 for a 170 total 🥇

Only available on the day at the show and announced same day after the show. @redpeacockphotography85 and @jodiegearingjewellery will arrange delivery/collection of the cupcakes on the day, and the other prizes will be delivered/collections arranged over the next week.

The count down is on - it’s going to be a fantastic day!

I'm Jen, I create your illustrated story live on the day or from your beaut photographs! I started my live illustration journey back in 2019 *I think might have been before!* capturing details from your day live as they happen adding overheard musings from your guests then creating a collage piece with all the original artwork bringing together your illustrated story! I of course now also offer live guest portraits as a services... but side note... how cool would a table plan of all your guests illustrated together be!? I'm up for it if you want it!

Such a wonderful time yesterday at the Southwest Love Fest with @quirky.weddings

So lovely to meet so many excited couples and to see so many of my 2026/2027 couples who came to say hello too.

Exhibiting at wedding fairs is always such a fantastic day out & I get to see so many fellow suppliers who have now become friends as well as making new ones every time too.

At the first wedding show I ever did as a wedding florist, I met the wonderful Jen from @nameandadress and we've stayed in touch ever since. Seeing her is always such a treat and yesterday she gifted me this gorgeous place setting that she'd created ❤️ She is so talented and honestly just one of the lushest humans you could ever meet ✨

Myself & @heldbyrosie also led a Vow Writing workshop and it was such a great opportunity to be able to make couples feel less daunted by the idea of putting their feelings down on paper and be able to help couples get started on their own personal journey. Huge thank you to Rosie for being such a fab teammate & massive support to me ❤️❤️

Held By Rosie is offering one @Wed4Pal raffle winner a brilliant prize of 10 packs of hand-dried rose petal colourful confetti, with raffle tickets for @heldbyrosie's prize at £10.

Rosie (she/her) says:

“This is just one way in which my business continues to take a stand against genocide, apartheid and injustice. 100% of ticket sales (minus mandatory transaction fees) will go towards addressing the genocide in Palestine, with 50% going to Pal Humanity (an organisation providing medical aid, education and lifesaving supplies in Northern Gaza) and 50% going to Gazan couple, Sama and Khalil, and their families to help them sustain and rebuild their lives.”
