1 in 8 of our neighbors experience hunger. We won't stop until ALL are fed. 💚💛
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Tim from Helena Food Share stopped by to talk about the growing need in our community and how Helena is stepping up to help. Right now, Food Share is serving an average of 170 people each day, 40 more people per day than this time last year. Those customers are also visiting more often each month. With 7,000 SNAP reductions across Montana, more people are feeling the strain. But Helena continues to show its generosity through food donations, volunteer hours, and financial support as we work toward a hunger-free community. This year also marks the 25th Anniversary of the “Be a Friend in Deed, Help Those in Need” campaign, supported by Town Pump with matching funds. As we head into the holiday season, people in our community need hope, and they need our help. Donate online or at Town Pump and Lucky Lil’s locations to help make a difference. #unitedistheway #helena #foodshare

It is Save a Life Day today! And YOU can save a life! Yes YOU. Naloxone, often sold under the brand name Narcan, is an opioid antagonist – a medication used to reverse or reduce the effects of an opioid overdose. Anyone can administer naloxone in the United States, including people with no medical training. It is safe and it is easy to use. And it is FREE. Stop by one of our participating agencies or businesses to grab your own box today. Thank you @helenafoodshare for hosting naloxone products and training today! It takes a village! #lewisandclarkpublichealth #montana #savealifeday #naloxone #narcan
