Good Girl Cafe and Bookstore has finally gotten to open their doors for the book community! 💜

I must say, us book girls understood the assignment with showing up for the newest bookstore opening! The introverts were put to the test today with the crazy turnout 🫡

It was so fun seeing so many book besties and getting to catch up in person! The drive is always worth it!

I also scored a pair of Romantasy PJs by Storylines by Sav! Now I will be decompressing in my comfy new PJs and curled up with a book after today’s festivities. 💜📖

🏰 𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐊 🏰

was tagged a bit ago to do an architecture stack, and thought there was no better timing to participate than now! this week is moving week for me which is why i’ve been a bit MIA, so the whole concept of living accommodations (castles) felt very on theme! spent this whole week painting and prepping, now we’re finally ready to move all our stuff over to the new house today 🤩 this place was a major upgrade for us and for our doggy with so much more space plus a back and front yard, so i will be over the moon once the move is all done and everything is official!

tagging some friends to participate, but no pressure :)

𝗤𝗢𝗧𝗗: any audiobook recommendations???

🌿☀️𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐄 𝐓𝐀𝐆 🍁❄️

decided to create this fun tag invoving the four seasons! haven’t been featuring sprayed edges much on my page lately, so they deserved a good feature! p.s. as soon as i took this picture the fire on the candle decided to sputter and it looks SO COOL so i had to use it lol

tagging some friends, but no pressure :) and feel free to participate even if you aren’t tagged!

𝗤𝗢𝗧𝗗: what’s your favourite season and why?

A: mine is fall! i’m sure none of you are shocked to hear that fall colours are my absolute favourite based on the colour/aestetic choices on my page, and that in combination with the slightly chilled weather is just 😘👌 i wanna be able to wear a sweater, pants, and a light jacket with boots every day. also this sound weird but like the smell of earthy decay is just amazing??? does anyone know what i mean? lmfao

❌ Read the book (Smoke and Scar)
✅ Went to book club

It really is a hit or miss for me most months whether it works out that I can actually read the book or not, but it’s always a fun time seeing these ladies ❤️

PS - @emilyreadthatbook thank you for not talking during these photos 🤣

𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊, 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐐𝐔𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐒 💬

was tagged by @littleraereads to do this challenge, and i thought this might be the perfect book!

i read the second death of locke last month, and boy does @toribovalino know how to write YEARNING!!! the romance in this book is so raw and true, it’s hard not to fall in love with grey and kier. here are a couple quotes that had me audibly “aww”ing.

tagging a few friends, but no pressure :)

QOTD: what’s your most quotable book?

thanks to @littleraereads for tagging me in this fun challenge!!! tagging a few friends but even if you are not tagged feel free to join in :)

🌙 new moon - a book from your TBR:
alchemised. i promised myself i was going to read this one by the end of the year but it keeps getting pushed back!!!

🌙 waxing crescent - a current read or ongoing series: onyx storm. no, i have not read this one yet. i unfortunately was on the fourth wing lover to iron flame hater pipe line, so i am not in any kind of rush to pick this one up. maybe i should just wait til book 4 comes out lol

🌙 first quarter - a book that challenged or changed you: bury our bones in the midnight soil. VE schwab is perfect. her character writing is perfect. i still think about this book almost every day 🥺 i miss my toxic lesbian vampires.

🌙full moon - an all time favourite:
BOBH. DUHHHHH. this book will change your whole life. i guess technically this one and bury our bones could be interchangeable lol

🌙 waning gibbous: a book you didn’t enjoy:
between two kings 🫣 so sorry guys, but this book was not it. i wrote a full essay on my good reads why if anyone feels so inclined to read. this is coming from a lindsay straube super fan who loved split or swallow too. i am still grieving. wanna grieve with me? shoot me a dm cause i still have a lot to say

🌙 dark moon: a dark or emotional read:
empire of the vampire. it’s grim dark fantasy! IYKYK honestly lol

Thanksgiving 2025 🦃🍁

I have experienced many ups and downs throughout this year but above it all these are the people I’m most thankful for.

To my gorls Cyn, Morgan, & Leana I don’t know if I would even be sane if it wasn’t for you guys. Thank you for coming into my life when you did and for sticking around 🖤

My book gorlies, you all have brought a bright light into my life that I had been missing. From digital communications to actually meeting each other IRL for the first time. I’m eternally grateful for this book community and the experiences that I’ve been able to have.

And to my CO book besties, I’m thankful for the connections I have made at the various signings and meetups we’ve done. It’s only further proof that books bring people together.

To the authors that I’ve had the amazing opportunity and privilege to work with, thank you for trusting me to read your work and to be apart of your various teams. I never pictured that my hobby would turn into what it is now but man am I happier it did.

My Sunshine ☀️ my favorite little girl in the entire world you are one of the biggest blessings in my life. You make so many people smile and laugh. I’m so thankful everyday that I get to be your auntie.

Of course, I am most grateful for my family, you know who you are, you have provided me the support I needed through some of the most darkest times in my life and I can’t thank you enough for truly saving me.

And to everyone else that I may have forgotten that have played a role in my life. I’m thankful to you and our experiences together 🖤
