You guys have been so supportive and encouraging the last two days, and I can/t thank you enough for that.
Someone said when someone shows you who they are, believe them. And they were right.
So, we’re pivoting! We’re turning our attention to bigger and better brands who value our money and attention and don’t block us for giving our honest feedback.

“Lo Que Regresa” | 2026

This work explores mortality as an inseparable part of existence and the possibility that death is not an absolute ending, but another form of transformation.

The skull emerges from behind the figure, confronting her with mortality. The sword represents life’s fragility and our ability to choose how we live with that awareness.

I designed the custom frame and collaborated with @etchpros and @manglitterstudio to bring it to life. Inspired by devotional altarpieces, its hinged doors explore concealment and revelation, presence and absence.

My embossed metalwork, incorporated into the frame, features calla lilies symbolizing mourning and renewal. At its head, a crescent moon represents transformation, while a four-pointed star suggests guidance through the unknown.

Three real white and purple calla lilies, bound with a white ribbon, reference funeral offerings and represent past, present, and future. As the only living elements, they will gradually wilt and die during the exhibition, making mortality visible in real time.

A marble diffuser holds “Chelsea Mourning,” provided by Tampa Bay perfume @hellosolenne . I incorporated scent for its connection to memory and its ability to evoke what is no longer physically present, extending the experience beyond the visual.

The painting also pays tribute to my dear friend @palehorse whose solo exhibition runs alongside “Practice Dying.” The photographic reference was created with @va111erie as my muse, inspired by her personal transformations, and @supremelips as the photographer, using Chris’s own sword. The reds and blues reference his work, contrasting warmth and cold, vitality and stillness.

“Lo Que Regresa” | 2026

This work explores mortality as an inseparable part of existence and the possibility that death is not an absolute ending, but another form of transformation.

The skull emerges from behind the figure, confronting her with the inevitability of death. The sword represents both the fragility of life and the power we have in choosing how to live with that knowledge.

I designed the custom frame and collaborated with @etchpros and @manglitterstudio to bring it to life. Inspired by devotional altarpieces, its hinged doors introduce the act of revealing and concealing, creating a space for contemplation between presence and absence.

The embossed metalwork I created is incorporated into the frame, featuring calla lilies associated with mourning and renewal. At the head of the frame, a crescent moon symbolizes cycles of transformation, while a four-pointed star suggests guidance through the unknown.

Three real white and purple calla lilies, bound with a white ribbon, reference funeral offerings and represent the past, present, and future. As the only living elements of the installation, they will gradually wilt and die throughout the exhibition, allowing viewers to witness the passage of time and the physical process of decay.

A marble diffuser holds “Chelsea Mourning,” a fragrance provided by perfume house @hellosolenne . I incorporated scent because of its intimate relationship with memory and its ability to evoke what is no longer physically present, extending the experience beyond the visual.

The painting also serves as a tribute to my incredible friend @palehorse whose solo exhibition accompanies “Practice Dying.” The photographic reference was created specifically for this work, with @va111erie as my muse, inspired by her own personal transformations, and @supremelips as the photographer, using Chris’s own sword. The contrasting reds and blues reference his visual language, exploring the relationship between warmth and cold, vitality and stillness.❤️
