EM @hellothemwilliams photographed in 2024 for t-fags, by myself & @orionisaacs_ 💦

EM: “I’ve been thinking a lot recently about community and home, and how a lot of us don’t have a stable home - myself included. As an intersectional person who is black and disabled, by reclaiming slur words we can make words that have been thrown with a harshness become soft. But also, how in lack of finding a home, a physical capitalist individualist home, we find [home] in words and identities.”

Thanks to everyone who joined us last month at the play reading and launch of ‘Happy Baby’ by JJ Pálka Johnson at Forma HQ. Featuring performances by Daisy Bevan, Helen Pearson, EM Williams and Leo Wan and directed by Jess Edwards.

Alive with the grief, ferocity and humour of queer life in inner city London, ‘Happy Baby’ is JJ Pálka Johnson’s debut play. The protagonist Joe navigates an open relationship with Sinéad, sex with strangers, and trying to become pregnant via a system that really does not want them to.

We're still thinking about the powerful and beautiful day that was @londontranspride 2026!

Some of the people in this video are:
@wheeling_forwards
@izenekocoaching
@quinn_ly
@kobi_ayensuo_
@hellothemwilliams
@simi_roach

Video description: A video montage from London Trans+ Pride. It opens with Sophia, a wheelchair user with front power attachment, heading towards the Mobiloo accessible toilet and Changing Places facility on Trafalgar Square. The camera then cuts to a close-up shot of the London Trans+ Pride branding. We then see Sophia using her Rehasense Eco Assist to pull along Izem, a wheelchair user, around Trafalgar Square. The video then shows a large crowd gathered in the square, and some disabled attendees watching from the shaded area of the Accessibility gazebo. The backdrop is the surrounding London buildings. The montage cuts to speakers and performers on stage. There is also a person signing in British Sign Language on stage. We see Quinnely on stage, and we then see a view of the audience. We then see Kobi on stage. The video then cuts to show Geoff, a Mobiloo facilitator, giving directions to someone. The video then cuts again to show us more people on stage. The final section of the video shows exterior views of the Mobiloo vehicle. The video ends with Geoff, a Mobiloo facilitator, waving at the camera as he drives off in the Mobiloo van at the end of the day. End of video description.

2025 recap ✨️

honestly I was hesitant about posting this because I'm still not where I'd like to be. But I do love a progress comparison so maybe in a few years I can look back at where I am now and be amazed at what I've managed to achieve. Or maybe I will simply delete this account and disappear hihi 🧚‍♂️

I love photography and I love to create cool shit and that's why I keep going. I need to explore and fail and discover and in this industry that's not always easy. We see these highlight reels of our work on social media but the hard work, sacrifices and doubts you go through are not often talked about or displayed.

But despite the doubts and the 'will I ever make it' questions, I can see each year I get closer to creating *that* feeling in my images, and that's enough for me. I can't describe it in words but I hope that these images convey it.

I'm finding myself and I'm finding my own creativity again, and I think, no.. I know! 2026 will be the best year yet - I already have some fun projects planned out (videography debut? 😉) and I'm excited to just.. create!

Thank you to all the people and brands I've worked with this year, you make it possible for me to continue doing what I love.

And a huge thank you to the photographers I've met and worked with - fashion week is always the highlight of my year and you continue to inspire me ⭐️ @nicieberlphoto @ellistcarroll @photosbygabs__ @galanet_ @eiahopkinson @raffaellabic_photography

In a climate of escalating hostility toward the trans+ community in the UK, @londontranspride returns to the capital this Saturday 26th July as a vital, visible, and defiant act of resistance. What started seven years ago as a grassroots protest has grown into a record-breaking beacon of hope and solidarity. With over 60,000 people attending in 2024 – the largest trans march in history – organisers are preparing for an even greater turnout this year, under the rallying cry: Existence and Resistance 💪

Behind this powerful movement is a dedicated team of activists, organisers, and community members who work tirelessly – often unpaid and unseen – to create a space where trans+ people can march, mourn, rage, and rejoice. “London Trans+ Pride has grown into a team of over 30 people now,” said founding member @lewisgburton. “I’m just so grateful to be working with such a dedicated and talented team of trans+ people from all walks of life who really represent the trans community as a whole, and I’m filled with love and joy and pride from working with them.”🏳️‍⚧️

At our link in bio, the London Trans+ Pride organising team share their plans for 2025's march this Saturday, starting at Langham Place (southbound) at 1pm, and ending at Parliament Square Gardens & St James Park 🌳

What happens when artists are given space to create without pressure to produce?

“Opportunities like this are deeply valuable, especially for black artists who can often feel isolated within the industry”

Our latest Flex Lab Mini brought together black women and Non-binary artists for a day of unrestricted play at @flyingfantastic

In an industry that often demands constant output, Flex Lab exists as a space to connect, experiment and simply ‘be’ as artists.

Check out our recent blog post written by our Lead artist for Flex Lab, @createdbysolomon about the importance of running residencies like this (Link in bio) 🫶🏽✨
