Been meaning to post this for a little while. I’m considering this 1998 Acura Integra Type R to be done. I achieved the vision of what I had in mind for the car when I first picked it up almost a year ago. Those of you that know me personally will know I go through cars extremely quickly but this is without a doubt the most special one (even compared to some of the more insane cars I’ve had over the years). I appreciate everyone who helped and continues to help me (even the folks I’ve never met in real life but have offered tips etc though IG; appreciate all of you!). Ok, on to the EM1! #acura #honda #integra #typer #cars

Car is back and feels great!! Love how a new clutch feels! Turns out the clutch started to break apart and in a weird way I wasn’t really expecting. But I’m just stoked it wasn’t some bigger transmission issue. The shop that helped me is @socalmotorworksoc. Really happy with the work. Andy the owner has a ton of experience with Hondas and cares about his craft - 100% recommended. Hope you all have a great day! #acura #honda #integra #typer #cars

Went to #southoccarsandcoffee today with @erocwu and the family. Eric was my next door neighbor in the Bay Area - we had kids that were the same age, same grade etc. I knew we were going to be friends, then I saw he had an Evo 8 and an FD RX7 in his garage, I knew we were gonna be lifelong friends. 10+ years later his family is part of our family. However, there’s room for improvement in any relationship - once he picks up another old Honda it’s possible we can become even better friends! 😂 Send him ads for clean, preferably black, Civic EGs for sale. 📸 @hellotinanealis

I cannot put stickers on straight to save my life. Seriously. 😅Since the Spoon blue wide mirrors are just basically big stickers I had my wife put them on. I also got the one for the rear view mirror inside the car. They definitely have a wider field of view but I’m not sure I like how they reduce some of the magnification + disable the day/night mirror. The blue tint is cool though! 😎

Some pictures fresh out of PDR, paint correction, PPF, and ceramic coating. Pictures from Tina @hellotinanealis (my wife) who is a lot better at pictures than me. Hat tip to @autoimage_oc for making the car look incredible!

Got the TE37s back from being restored by @onsitewheels . Took a couple weeks but as expected they’re perfect. I made my wife put on the new stickers because otherwise I would put them on crooked.😛 I’ll share better pictures soon.

Went to @olasceramics to practice making pottery with the wheel! I was trying to make a mug for my green tea…but ended up with two little trinket bowls instead. And honestly, I love them. 🥹

Taking this class was the creative reset I didn’t know I needed—such a good reminder that creativity is about patience, letting go of perfection, and just having fun with the process. The staff was so nice, and we even met a few new friends while glazing our pieces (👋🏻 @hellotinanealis!)

Can’t wait to go back for another class! If you’re in Southern California, Olas Ceramics is the spot.🏺✨

Ozzie made his runway debut yesterday and served looks. He was invited to join @jessronagrooming’s pup squad for the upcoming @hi.shmoop launch and struck a pose at @jrgsalon. He soaked up the spotlight and loved all the attention. Big thanks to @jessicapoodlegroomer for making sure Ozzie was perfectly coiffed and photo-ready. And thank you to the JRG staff as well— @andythegroomer @alysser_ortega @k9scissorhands and everyone there! Can’t wait to see how the photos and videos turn out. 🤩
