"Power In Remembering" has officially been out for ONE WEEK! 😭

Words cannot describe how grateful & honored I am to have worked on this song with such incredible people on our worship team.

This song was birthed from breakthrough moments - starting with a devo by Pastor @mikeeltak during my second year of School Of Ministry about measuring backwards, where we were challenged to close our eyes and reflect on our lives 5 years ago and see how much God has done since then.
A few days after, I remember driving and hearing the lyrics & melody for the chorus so clearly from the Holy Spirit and immediately recording it and sending it to @ezrajhinojosa & he and Pastor @aareval believed in me so much that they continued to encourage me to sing it throughout chapels, worship sets, etc.

This song truly means so much to me, and seeing the process of this song being released honestly feels so surreal. I cannot express my gratitude enough.

Lord, may I never forget all the things that you have done for me. I pray that this song blesses you as much as it has blessed me. 🤎

Four years & a week ago Chloe & I had our first date. There was so much electricity we couldn’t stop yapping & being & meeting one another in such a newfound way. After the date I asked Chloe if she’d be my valentines date the following weekend & she said yes. I got home and realized - I had spent all my money on her already haha. Where was a 20 something year old guy to go with $30 and the most important date of his life?

Since then we always make sure to go back for Vday (+ a few extra stops). Even as seasons change and our purview expands well past what it was when we first met, it’s become all the more centering to remember where we started - where God first introduced us to one another.

Chloe, I somehow grow to love you more with each passing day. You are my most profound proof of creation’s goodness, gentleness, & strength. God took extra time knitting you together, making me the receiver of blessings I couldn’t have ever even known to pray for.

There’s moments in worship that I just can’t explain. His manifest presence was in the room, but not even words could explain the weight of His goodness and glory. Only God can take the description of what it means to birth purpose and miracles and channel them into a gathering of people. I sat in my fist churchlv conference at 17 and got to plow with the pioneers 12 years later. I love you PB & PW, I love you church fam, what a conference 🩶

The Table

This will forever be one of my favorite stories with the Lord.

I said yes before I even knew what I was saying yes to. But the Lord had already brought the dream and a team together back home.
