I was invited by Lisa, her friend Trisha, and her daughter Ayden to join their team for the Puzzle Challenge at the Lake Geneva Library. I was so excited to give it a try, and I was thrilled that we placed 4th in our very first competition! We completed the puzzle in 48 minutes, and the first-place team had actually just won Nationals(completed in 30 minutes) so we were feeling pretty proud of our accomplishment. It was a fun experience, and I can’t wait to do it again!

Lisa and I went to see author and celebrate the release of her new book, this week! She was so sweet, hilarious, and had us laughing through stories—including the tale of her first kiss… which apparently happened three times 😂

This was also the first book event I’ve attended that had an amazing spread of fruit, sandwiches, and cookies, which definitely earned bonus points!

Thank you for the invite, Lisa! It was such a fun night out and a perfect evening of books, laughs, and great company. 💕📚

Started a new book adventure last night and it was such a fun evening! 📚✨

It was great connecting with the Cedarburg book group as we chatted about Forget Me Not, which was such a good read. Even better, I met some truly wonderful new ladies and had the best time getting to know everyone.

📚✨ Book Club Adventures! 🍫🔥

This week, Lisa and I had a wonderful time at our book club at @thebreadpedalers , diving into “The Housemaid” by Frieda McFadden! The highlight? The delicious s’mores dessert they crafted to complement the book!

Our discussion was so enriching, focusing on mental health and the complexities of believing someone else’s word over the actual truth. The book itself was a whirlwind—a fast read with plenty of twists and turns to keep us on our toes!

Tall Ship Red Witch (aka S/V Jakab) is designed for ocean racing – fast passage in high waves and wind. We went out on Jakab last night, the one night we didn’t have any wind this summer. 🤣 It was still great to be out on the water and enjoy the beautiful sunset.
