Fine Comune is now open as part of @lakecomodesignfestival, and we are delighted to be taking part in the exhibition, conceived by @we_are_nomade and curated by @ultrapresent_studio.

The project reflects on the concept of borders as spaces of encounter, places where boundaries meet, perspectives overlap, and people come into dialogue.

Alongside handcrafted rugs by @cc_tapis, and an upholstered sofa system by @acerbis_design, Movimento Gallery presents a selection of collectible design works by international artists and designers. Together, the pieces create an open and welcoming environment where objects, space and people enter into dialogue with one another.

Fine Comune - THE EXHIBITION

Borders as temporary places of encounter.
A former church is transformed into a transitional space for people to meet and interact.
Fine Comune features a selection of collectible design pieces represented by @movimentogallery, handcrafted rugs by @cc_tapis and upholstered sofa system by @acerbis_design, to create an open and welcoming environment.

BOO series SIDETABLES

BOO, altı baloncuktan oluşan bir yan sehpa veya oturma objesi serisidir. Her bir parçanın formu belirli ölçüde yönlendirilebilse de, nihai şekiller büyük ölçüde dış kuvvetlerin rastlantısal etkileşimleri sonucunda ortaya çıkar.

Baumann, üretim sürecinde formların geliştiği çerçeveyi belirler ve böylece her bir parçanın kendine özgü kompozisyonunu oluşturmasına olanak tanır.

Reçinenin zarif yarı saydamlığı, formlara hafif bir ışıltı ve akışkanlık hissi kazandırırken; pürüzsüz, mat yüzeyleri dokunma isteği uyandırır. Dört adet cilalı pirinç küre üzerinde duran organik ve asimetrik hacimler, denge ile hareket, tasarım ile rastlantı arasında zarif bir denge oluşturur.

Henry Baumann’s acclaimed Boo Series transforms resin into luminous, sculptural forms. Built from meticulously stacked resin bubbles and grounded by polished brass feet, each piece balances structure and spontaneity, with soft translucency and smooth matte surfaces that invite a closer look.

Working without preliminary sketches, Baumann allows chance to shape the process, embracing experimentation and the unexpected. “When I’m experimenting with these materials, I often begin with an idea that fails—but through failure, something unexpected emerges. I’m fascinated by that process.”
