I need your help, Denver ~ read until the end, and please comment!!
🌱
While meeting with the vegan lady bosses of Denver this week, a recurring foodie theme was discussed: where oh where are the vegan brunch options?!?
🌱
I know, I know - there ARE a handful to be found! (Our friend @oatmealartist will be coming out with an epic Denver vegan brunch list real soon!🤫👏🏻🎉) But what about vegan options at the rest of the brunchy omnivorous restaurants that don’t already cater to vegans?!?
🌱
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: breakfast doesn’t have to be complicated. My friend Anne put it best: “What’s a little tofu scramble?” Some faux-sausage & hash? Maybe even vegan biscuits and gravy, waffles, French toast, or pancakes?!
🌱
Well, my friends. It’s time we ask for what we desire - because the truth is, veganism is here to stay! And I, for one, would LOVE to throw my money at an establishment who will feed me vegan food - ESPECIALLY BREAKFAST.
🌱
SO TELL ME: Is there a restaurant you wish could accommodate your vegan breakfast lust? Tag them below, Denver!
🌱
Veganuary or not, the vegans are hungry year round. I’m tagging as many VLBs as I can! And anyone feel free to chime in: Who would you LOVE to support, should they choose to start providing for the vegan community on a full-time basis? ⤵️🍽☕️

Beautiful little appetizers courtesy of @hempwayfoods , topped with caramelized onions and our Smoked Gouda. I was so honored that Carla at HempWay chose my cheese to top her sliders for the @naturallyboulder presentation this fall! 🍔

More often than not, you'll find a HempWay product under my cheese when I'm cooking at home. I like the Smoked Gouda with it, but also love to melt the Mozzarella on top, served with a thick slice of tomato and dripping with mayo. It's a quick a delicious meal; hearty enough for a big appetite. Seasoned Himalayan Salt from @sarahkitchenqueen . .

The first Cooking With The Hemp Food Lady Monthly Dinner & Cooking Class (2nd Monday of each month) was absolutely amazing. We had a great turnout and we even had it filmed for future projects. This cooking event has been a long standing dream that is somehow all falling into place. I have special thanks gong to Marty Otañez and crew for filming!
A guest commented last night on the amazing friends & support that surrounds me, I whole heartedly agree!!!!! There are so many amazing people that offer invaluable assistance daily!
I so appreciate everyone who attended and the invaluable assistance from The Sarah’s 😉 & Katie! I couldn’t ask for a better event venue OH Zone/Kris Morwood to host the cooking class/dinner.
Stay tuned for November’s “Cooking With The Hemp Food Lady” class/dinner November 11th.
