This is a CD packaging design I made in 2011 for Herb-One @herbiehowser ‘The One & Only’ on Astroflip Recordings. @astroflip I was going for a Blue Note style cover to keep in line with the analog vibes and vinyl-based samples on the album. I tried to tie everything together with the color scheme and the diamond stripe pattern. I also scanned a 45 record and tweaked the dimensions to fit onto the compact disc which is definitely my favorite part. You can listen to the album and see a larger version of the cover at herb-one.bandcamp.com Shout out to @alexeiberteig for his excellent photography work. #astroflicorporation #afc #beijingchina #annarbormichigan #albumpackagingdesign #cddesign #hiphop #streetwear #nehemiah9design #washtenawcreatives #logodesign #apparelbrand #clothingbrand #herb1 #herbiehowser #astrofliprecordings #cdcover #cdpackaging #compactdiscdesign #albumdesign #albumcover #albumcoverdesign #astroflip
