Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,—
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.

-William Shakespeare

We are lucky to have cool and talented staff 😎 this most definitely isn’t made and written by that color haired neurodivergent millennial… and she definitely didn’t make her own dog the cover photo of this post.

On this Litha day, the sun shines bright,
Bless us with your golden light.
As the wheel of the year turns 'round,
May joy and abundance in our lives be found.

Bless this day of Litha, midsummer's grace,
Fill our hearts with love and embrace.
As the sun reaches its highest height,
Illuminate our path with your radiant light.

Goddess of the earth, so fertile and green,
Bless us with your nurturing scene.
As we dance beneath the solstice sky,
May your blessings on us multiply.

Litha blessings, hear our call,
Fill us with your energy, big and small.
As we honor this sacred time,
May harmony and peace in our hearts climb.

On this Litha day, so bright and true,
May our spirits be renewed.
With gratitude and love we say,
Blessed be on this Litha day.

=================================
Litha, also known as Midsummer or the Summer Solstice, is an ancient festival celebrated by various cultures around the world. Litha is believed to be a time when faerie folk pass into the human world at Twilight and offer blessings. Litha is a time to celebrate the abundance and beauty of Mother Earth.

I'm not sure what is more majestic than Ryn in her Crocs!!! I'm glad I got the @wagwear wellies for her to go on our desert trip because it helped keep her paws safe from all the hot sand and rocks!!! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Happy Mother's Day to my mom that "doesn't like animals"

Happy Mother's day to the person who has let me grow up with animals, who refuses to touch them (but loves them from a distance), who still enjoys seeing their pictures over and over, and always cares about all our adventures and if they're not feeling well.

Happy Mother's day to the best mom, to the one that is always there and has loved and supported me no matter what ❤️

I love you so much, ma!

Meet Rogue!

Rogue is an Aquarius
5 years old
Spastic AF
Cross-eyed
With an underbite
And alot of sass!

She was our foster failed pitty mix who was found tied to a shopping cart with a belt around her neck at about 2 months old.

Rogue Loves anyone and everything. She only plays as hard/rough as her playmate. She loves adventures, even just to the corner store and back.

Rogue is named after a mix of Rogue One (star wars fans, duh) and Rogue from X-men (my favorite xmen character!)

When we get home from being literally anywhere, she has to greet us with a toy.
Cardboard is better than chew toys
She doesn't like to share her toys

Do you have any foster fails? What made you foster fail?

Meet Revan!

Revan is an Aries
He is 7 years old
Hes a pitty mix (EMBARK is in highlights)
Hes very vocal, very sweet, and gets random zoomies
Revan does not like other dogs
Hes not aggressive, but he will let them know he doesn't like them if they bother him.
Revan is 100% a daddy's boy BUT he LOVES girls.
Any female that comes over he is ALL OVER. All the loves and snuggles.

Revan chose Rogue, that's a big part of why we forster failed her.
Revan growls/grumbles at every animal in the house EXCEPT Lexxi.

Revan is a bed hog
This photo is his favorite trick
He is the most picky dog I've ever had
He doesn't like Raw food, doesn't like most treats (ruff bar and milkbones are all he likes) and he just generally isn't food motivated.
We got Revan when Aiden was about 4 months old, and we got Revan on Star Wars Day!
If you know us, we are big star wars fans. Revan's name comes from a Star Wars Video Game.

They’re not even fake liking each other, it’s actually real! Lila took a good year to really accept Fizz in her special Lila way. Lila is very tolerant of new dogs but she often takes a long time before she becomes playful or snuggly. They’re a pretty darn cute duo now if I do say so myself 😍

Photo accessibility description: Red bi Australian Shepherd Fizz and Black Lab Lila stand with their heads touching and purple and pink tulip fields behind them. Fizz wears a hot pink corduroy collar and Lila wears an aqua blue corduroy collar.

“Keep close to Nature’s heart … and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”

Happy Earth Day 🌎
We are home from our trip to Big Bend State Park. It was an adventure and a beautiful experience. We have never explored or hiked in a desert type environment because it's not one I find myself attracted to; but I wanted to step out of my comfort zone, and it did not disappoint.
It's crazy how mother nature works and creates such masterpieces!!!
I'm not sure I will go back to a desert type place again just because Ryn and I really aren't cut out for it, but you never know!!!
