This is gonna be a long caption so forgive me

Going to the first ever @creatorcamps #CampFilmFest was the greatest and most important experience of my life. This wasn’t just a film festival, it was a chance for me see what’s possible down the road. To see a group of internet creators making magic when they were told it was impossible.

I got to meet and learn from creators that I have looked up to for so long (@gawx_art @__we_love_you_ @jackconte @schyguyy @simonkim @nataliexlynn). It was very surreal because each of these people had a specific impact on a specific moment in my life, and I never thought I would get the chance to tell them that.

Most importantly, I found my community. I met so many incredible people and made so many new friends who believe in the same art form I do to the same degree and are inspired by the same creators. People who celebrate, embrace, and support each other’s passion and work. For a while I thought I would never find these people, but to be able to put faces and voices to what was previously just names on a screen was amazing. It’s the greatest feeling in the world. To everyone I met, I can’t wait to see you again and see how you’ve grown and all the cool stuff you’ve done.

The past few years have had a lot of ups and downs, especially creatively, but this made it all worth it. I am forever grateful to have experienced this, and I hope I can do it again someday. (full video when it’s ready ya boy needs to learn davinci resolve)

Adventures with Sam! Ended up in Chicago and decided to eat fancy. Delicious steak, but the brussel sprouts were just amazing.
