🏆 TWO COMPETITORS. TWO GOLD MEDALS. ONE PROUD TEAM! 🥇🥇

A huge congratulations to Kelly and David, who both competed this past Saturday and took home GOLD in their divisions! 👏

But this weekend was extra special for our Kaizen family! ❤️

Kelly made HISTORY as the first woman from our Jiu-Jitsu program to win a competition representing Kaizen! 🥇💪

Kelly stepped onto those mats representing not just herself, but our entire Women’s Jiu-Jitsu team. Her determination, hard work, and incredible performance made us all so proud!

Congratulations to both Kelly and David! Your Kaizen family is cheering you on every step of the way! 🔥

Did you know that learning how to fall is a skill you learn in jiu-jitsu?

It might sound simple, but knowing how to safely fall, move, and protect yourself is an important part of learning how to defend yourself!

Learn. Train. Get comfortable being uncomfortable 💥

There’s just something special about being able to do a sport with your kid. ❤️

You get to learn together, laugh together, struggle together, and celebrate the little wins together. And along the way, you’re building a bond and memories that go way beyond the sport itself.

One of the things we love about Kaizen is that we have classes where parents and kids can train alongside each other.

Because someday they’ll be grown, and you’ll look back and remember that you got to do this together. 🥹🥋

Pretty special. 💚

WHAT. A. NIGHT. 🤩

BOSS Bash 2026 was such an incredible celebration! 🥳 We had the best time coming together to represent Kaizen, celebrate alongside so many incredible local businesses, and enjoy an unforgettable night of food, music, laughter, and community. The band was AMAZING, the food was incredible, and the energy in the room was 🙌🙌🙌

We are beyond grateful to be voted Best Self-Defense Class on the South Shore for another year. 🏆

Being recognized by the community we love and are so proud to be a part of means more than we can say. Thank you to everyone who voted, supported us, trained with us, and continues to make Kaizen what it is.

Feeling very grateful, very proud, and very lucky to be part of this community!!

Here’s to another amazing year at Kaizen! 💚🤍🖤

Three years ago, we opened the doors to Kaizen with a vision, a whole lot of grit, and a core team willing to go ALL IN.

Since day one, this family has grown….but the mission has stayed the same: show up, work hard, build something bigger than ourselves, and get 1% better every single day.

We have just experienced our BEST month Kaizen has ever had since opening… and that doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because of the people in these photos. The ones opening the doors early, staying late, answering messages, teaching classes, cleaning mats, building community, and believing in what we’re creating here.

Three years in and we’re still going hard.
Still growing.
Still building.
Still just getting started.

Celebrating the team tonight at The Fours ❤️

IBJJF New York Spring 2026 - 🥇🙏🏼

I’d also like to thank the entire @kaizennorwell family and my students who help me stay ready for any competition.

A big thank you to @dr.bmchuma / @surftosummit_spine for strengthening me with great physical training and always
keeping my joints in check. I really appreciate it, boss.

Bora descansar hoje e amanhã, e segunda feira voltar aos treinos, porque em breve temos novidades. 🫡

💥 Meet Herica Tiburcio 💥

We’re beyond proud to have Herica leading women on the mats at Kaizen.

✔️ Former Invicta FC Atomweight Champion
✔️ Youngest champion in Invicta history (21 years old)
✔️ Won the title in her very first fight with the promotion — outside of Brazil

And now… she’s sharing that experience with YOU. But what makes Herica even more special is who she is off the mats.

She trains and teaches alongside her husband, Professor Bruno. Together, they’re raising three boys inside this community- building not just strong athletes, but strong families.

At Kaizen, it’s more than jiu-jitsu. It’s family. It’s support. It’s kids growing up watching their parents chase goals. It’s women finding confidence. It’s a room full of people who genuinely want to see each other win.

Herica brings world-class experience, technical precision, and a calm, empowering presence to every class.
