If you’ve been following my work for ANY bit of time, then you know that I’m passionate about relational health, especially when it comes to empowering individuals, couples, and leaders with the right tools, information and support for better, healthier relationships. As well, I’m expanding my work with workplaces to consult and guide regarding psychological health and safety. I love THIS work! As part of my own growth, I’ve been working on creating videos in alignment with my Relational Health message. This is my FIRST video. Today I ask the important question: Who taught you how to be in a relationship? At the end, I ask you to reflect on and vulnerably share the one relationship skill you wish you’d learned years ago. What a wonderful evening of connection, inspiration, and meaningful conversations! Last night, I had the pleasure of attending The Power of Her: Wealth, Wellbeing & What’s Possible on behalf of EFry, hosted by Better Not Bitter Society and Tory Burch. It was inspiring to be surrounded by women from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and sectors, all bringing so much energy, positivity, and wisdom to the room. Beyond the great networking, one of the highlights was the uplifting conversation facilitated by Mariat Jibril, Founder and CEO of Better Not Bitter Society, where the panelists shared their journeys, experiences, and stories of success. I had the pleasure of joining the conversation by asking a simple question: “What does making a difference mean to you?” The answers were as diverse as the women in the room, yet equally meaningful. From helping many women secure employment by coaching them through job interviews, to writing grants and raising $1.9 million for a worthy cause, to simply being present for friends and family. It was a beautiful reminder that making a difference doesn’t always have to be something grand. Sometimes, it’s the small acts of kindness, encouragement and support that create the greatest impact. This message resonates deeply with the work we do at EFry, where empowering women, creating opportunities, and helping individuals build brighter futures are at the heart of our mission. I left feeling inspired, energized, and grateful for the opportunity to connect with such incredible women. The Power of Her was truly a night well spent!

Enjoyed the Delta Women’s Network Sunset Social at Southlands last night ✨ A lovely evening meeting new people and reconnecting with familiar faces. Minister McKnight’s opening remarks set the tone beautifully, followed by Lisa Hoglund’s authentic and sincere keynote and her powerful message of impact over influence. The panel shared some valuable insights and so proud of Hermina for moderating the conversation.
