We practice ritual theatre as a way of communing with the more-than-human world and sharing their stories. This year our more than human ally was the Mother-Tree, it was an honour to bring you her teachings at @enlivenfestivalbc at Princeton, BC. and Beaver Point hall in Salt Spring Island. The most intimate place to be in connection is through creation. We therefore cultivate; •creation in sisterhood •creation in ceremony •creation in community •in co-creation with nature to deepen our collective connection.

Grieving the trespassing of the sacred at the hands of the fractured Honouring in community, feeling in community, taking responsibility together. Deepest bow to the women who offered their vessels and stories — personal and generational — at the altar of this prayer. ReGenesiis 2026 captured by @duel_in_the_light

Wow. Hats off, hands up and deep bows to us! In my experience, we all showed up with brilliant presence, gracious reverence and heartfelt care to the 2026 Dance Temple Gathering. I’ve spent this past week digesting, integrating and ruminating on the beauty that was embodied in our full weekend together... I am in awe of how this dancing community showed up to deepen in our steps towards creating safer space for us to dream, heal and grow into the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible. What a gift to co-create a space where our local indigenous hosts feel welcome and valued to bring protocol, wisdom, language, healing and gifts to our shared table. Where our ancestors are honoured and our children celebrated. Where our grief and joy are welcomed as we get to know ourselves and each other. Where we are held by so many incredible space holders, the grace of the land and its creatures and the benevolence of the unseen realms. May we continue to seed this dream: one of inclusion and participation, of healing and transformation, of authenticity and freedom, of respect and reverence. AND PLAY!!! I love playing with you… I had so much fun. Lifetime highlight: @shanleyspence ‘s performance during Saturday night set with @shaunamoves_ @cedar.mathias @raraavisjourneys and @connie_amanita with @hersoftpower @anandalila @sarahetherington1212 and Jaz onstage dancing Thank you all. REGENESIS 🌊 Regeneration is not a solitary act. Like a forest, we become through relationship; roots intertwined beneath the surface, each carrying our own gifts, each nourishing the whole. We gathered around a living prayer and allowed it to move through us, through creation, rage, grief, beauty, play and love. And somewhere in the alchemy, the prayer began changing us too. COMMUNION 🌿 We gathered not only to create, but to listen. To remember the voice beneath language spoken through root and river, stone and soil, breath and body. We are woven within the more-than-human world. Ritual became art. Art became prayer. Prayer became listening. Listening became remembering. REGENESIIS - @creation.temple 📸 - @zogia_media

✨We are landing back from the beloved @enlivenfestivalbc overflowing with stories to share. After our very first REGENESIIS immersion and two beautiful performances marking the first full season of Animist Arts, we have hundreds of photos, videos, reflections, and moments waiting to be woven into the world. To help us tell these stories well, we’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team. We’re looking for someone who: • Has a strong aesthetic eye and understands visual storytelling • Is skilled at editing short-form video (Instagram Reels, etc.) • Can create beautiful graphics and engaging social content • Has excellent attention to detail • Is organized, consistent, and able to work independently • Enjoys taking initiative and bringing ideas into form • Has a love for ritual and a mythic way of life The role includes: • 5–10 hours per week • A bi-weekly creative planning call with founder @phoebe.fae to map out content for the month • Editing videos, designing graphics, scheduling posts, and helping shape our online presence • Opportunities for increased hours and pay as we grow together If you love storytelling, community, ecology, art, and helping meaningful projects reach the people they’re meant for, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your portfolio, examples of your work, and a short note about why this role excites you via a DM or to animistarts.ca@gmail.com And if someone comes to mind, we’d be so grateful if you’d share this with them 🕊️💌 Photo magic by @zogia_media

As our Relational Embodiment guide, Cat has curated a bundle of experiences to support the emotional depth and capacity within our council. She has lovingly tracked the group nervous system throughout our time together—which has helped to inform the landscape of the ritual and the coherence of our relational field. This year at Enliven, Cat will be guiding a movement and relational embodiment workshop. This will be a journey of grounding into your body through gentle somatic movement—arching into group relational embodiment exercises. Think embodied sensual-fun-meets-clown and play! 🤸🏽‍♀️🌹✨ We are eternally grateful for this woman and all she brings to the altar of this work. She is such a gift 💝 @hersoftpower Love you, our magical Catsura sister ✨
