POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This summer, HTAB was busy selling merch across 9 of the 10 provinces. Thank you to all of our partners for making it possible, and thank you to everyone who invested in supporting women’s baseball in Canada. Let’s reminisce on everything we accomplished together! 🤍❤️

“Sport teaches you a lot about life. In Canada and around the world, everyone should have that opportunity.”

Playing every part of this on repeat! ♥️🔁

People sometimes ask me how I’ve stayed in business for so many years… and honestly, one of the biggest reasons is this 🤍

Having access to a room full of brilliant women who are building things.

At our mastermind meetings we bring ideas, challenges, questions, dreams, and sometimes things that feel impossible… and together we push each other forward.

This year I watched women launch ideas, make bold decisions, solve problems, create opportunities, and turn things they’d been sitting on into real action.

Kim and I experienced this ourselves. Earlier this year we shared the idea for our Travel Circle and left with feedback, encouragement, and practical next steps. Instead of waiting, we acted… and within one mastermind cycle we brought it to life and completed our first trip.

But what inspires me most isn’t our story.

It’s seeing it happen again and again around the table.

There is something powerful about being in a community that celebrates your wins, asks hard questions, and reminds you to keep going.

If I’ve learned anything, success is rarely built alone.

So grateful for this group of women and for the gift of being part of a community that believes in lifting each other higher 🤍✨

Today marks the International Day of Play and the start of the FIFA World Cup! 🤩⚽

Celebrated globally, both moments show how sport helps people come together, express themselves and build lifelong skills. 🌍

They also highlight the barriers millions face before they have a chance to step on the pitch. 🚧

For girls around the world, who often face the greatest barriers, this can look like a lack of access to nutritious food, clean water or safe spaces. 🍽️

During our time at Her Sports Fest, we asked young athletes why they play. Here’s what they said ❤️

“I play sports to have dedicated me time! It clears my head and let’s me be my best self.”

“I play sports to connect with the community and engage with others in marginalized communities.”

Be sure to keep up with @FuelHERca for the full series!

Quick little highlight reel from the other weekend at @hersportsfest . Her Sports Fest is a three-day multi-sport festival in Toronto created to support, promote, and celebrate girls and women in sports. It features hands-on sport demonstrations, athlete panels, and community networking zones! The crew from @positivity.lives.here kept the energy up and also provided games and prizes for patrons to win!

Come check it out next year!

Last week I had the pleasure of attending @hersportsfest inagural event to celebrate girls & women in sport!

@girlsjustwannabox was there at the TRY IT Zone to introduce the sport of boxing 🥊 to the attendees.

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing that sparkle in these girls’ eyes while throwing punches 🤩

Boxing is such a great sport for young girls (older girls & grown women!). It teaches them how strong their bodies are by just being able to utilize it properly, it helps them stay mentally focused and grounded, & it helps with confidence to know they are more powerful than they think!

Thank you to HerSportsFest for putting on such an amazing event to bring together sport & community 💜🎉

Millions of people worldwide face barriers to manage their periods. This affects their ability to go to school, play or participate fully in daily life.

@laur_afk from @hago_canada chatted with us about period poverty, why menstrual equity matters and their work towards a #PeriodFriendlyWorld ♥️

You don’t know what opportunities are available to you until you get out and try. (Swipe to see Marion and I trying a new sport. 😂)

I’m a big believer in this statement which is why it was great to witness and support the inaugural @hersportsfest first hand. Girls were able to show up, try new sports, see what’s out there, and even meet incredible female athlete ambassadors.

@marionthenault and I had the opportunity to meet some of the young girls and share our experiences in sport.

Both of us grew up doing other sports, Marion was a gymnast and I figure skated, but those sports developed our character as athletes and it’s where we learned to overcome challenges and failure.

It’s why I’m a big advocate for @rbctrainingground because it’s a FREE opportunity to try something new, overcome challenges, and discover your potential!

A big congratulations to Sherry and Carolyn on building a space for girls and women in sport!
