Dave and I had the most amazing culinary experience a couple weeks ago when we got invited to a media dinner by @weareheshima 🍴

Not only did we get to eat AMAZING food, but also got to know Chef @micahlabrosse , make new friends, AND our friend @mackaphotography took some couples photos for us 🥰

Chef Micah creates fine-dining with a Texas flair by incorporating local ingredients, flavor-profiles and techniques. He takes easily relatable plates like tomato soup and cornbread and elevates them to an elegant iteration that surprise & delight. There were a number of times when the entire room just suddenly went quiet as everyone just devoured the courses in front of us 😆 It was also really considerate of Chef to accommodate Dave and I by making us mocktail versions of his drink pairings. They were delicious!

I can readily say that his dinner has been on my mind every since we sat at that table and that freakin' cornbread dessert won't leave my brain, it was SO GOOD 🥹🤤

DEFINITELY book @weareheshima for an unforgettable dining experience!

Did you know Micah was a chef?? He runs his own pop-up restaurant, @weareheshima. He shared this gift and passion with the band one night, which was a much needed break from the race to finish this song. One of the many perks of having multi-talented and entrepreneurial friends. Thanks, Micah, for your contribution to the music, the incredible food, and a little bit of R&R to help me sharpen the axe. You guys go check out Heshima!

Might be something special in the works between @platinummusiccomplex, Heshima and Therma coming soon for you guys!
