9 years married to my amazing wife. I love how you know me. I love how you smile when I walk into the room. I love how you make me feel when you walk into the room. I love how you can’t get through the day without a chai. I love how you always know what to say. I love how you are very specific about which spoons are used for which purpose. I love how you are a wonderful mum. I love how hard you’ve worked to prioritise yourself while still prioritising others. I love how you are always true to yourself. I love how you can pretty much only handle uplifting movies. I love how you are a caring friend who others can lean on. I love how your preference is to be the passenger in the car. I love how you love me. Happy us day my love - baby us would be proud ❤️ 📸 @fredandhannah Image Description: Hess and I on our wedding day, just after being pronounced officially married 😊

•FROCKTOBER• I’m frocking up to show support for ovarian cancer research 🧪👗📚🧑‍🔬 Around 20% of ovarian cancer cases are hereditary, caused by mutations in genes such as BRCA1 or BRCA2. Vital research helps researchers better understand ovarian cancer so crucial developments can be made in diagnosis and treatment, including precision medicine. I had a genetic test for the BRCA gene. My family has a history of breast cancer on both sides, so it was vital for me to be tested. Test results showed I don’t have the BRCA gene. Donate to my Frocktober campaign: frocktober.org.au/fundraise/carly-findlay26 - link in bio ⬆️ If you cannot donate, please share my Frocktober posts. The info from the OCRF is important. Thanks for donating, sharing and commenting! ♥️ Today’s outfit is a gorgeous dress from Aje - love the colour, the fluttery sleeves and dangly gold baubles hanging from the sleeves. Quail brooch is Erstwilder x Jocelyn Proust. Necklace is Swarovski. Bag is Pink Oasis. These pics were taken by my 7 year old friend Aila, and she did so well. When I did chemo, I wore the bracelet Aila made me, for good luck. It worked - I’m now cancer free. 🖤 Images: Carly, a woman with a red face and short dark curly hair, wearing a long dark green dress with flutter sleeves and gold baubles hanging from cord below the sleeves. A long star pendant hangs around her neck, and a brooch that’s a colourful spotted quail is pinned to her dress. She’s holding a bag that’s red and green with birds printed on it. She’s got red lipstick on, smiling, standing near wooden cabinets.

Australia vs Ireland - what an experience! 🟢🟡 The few days in Sydney last week had me thinking a lot about everything I have gained from being involved in W football since 2016 - including meeting so many wonderful people! Pictures include me with the Australian coaching panel, Essendon AFLW representatives, Melbourne AFLW players and staff, ex-North Melbourne staff, Clara Fitzpatrick (Melbourne Uni Womens throwback!), the great Debbie Lee, Hester, and the extended Australian coaching group with the cup post the Australian team’s win!
