Thursday night’s Creators of Port Moody was nothing short of phenomenal.

Over 150 people filled that room, including four City Councillors and community leaders from across the Tri-Cities, for an evening that felt genuinely world-class.

Andrew, Matt and the rest of the Inlet theatre tech team brought,TED-level production quality, and our speakers delivered everything and more.

Adam, Gina, Jamie, Deanna, Sally, Cezar, Roja, Kyle, and Matthew: what you each brought to that stage was real, generous, and unforgettable. Thank you for trusting us with your stories.

Port Moody, the talent here is everywhere. On stage, behind the scenes, in the breweries, the studios, and all over this city. Truly a City of the Arts.

None of this was possible without our project lead Andrea! She brought this incredible vision to Port Moody and offered a unique way for these creators to inspire us with their stories!

(Hi! I’m Brooke. I had the honour of handling the graphics, social media, and videography for Creators of Port Moody. Nights like this are exactly why I love what I do. 🎥✨)

That’s a wrap! We want to extend our deepest thanks for your support of Design Vancouver Festival 2024. Held from September 19-29, the festival centered around the theme of 'Connection,' and we’re proud to say that connection is exactly what we experienced.

In 2025, we hope to build on this momentum, creating even more opportunities for dialogue, innovation, and collaboration within the city's creative landscape.

Thank you to our sponsors @lasallevancouver @bulthaupvancouver and many others. Without their support, we could not have accomplished such a successful inaugural festival year.

We can’t wait to see you at #DesignVanFest 2025!
