I don’t say this lightly: I think I had the best Korean Fried Chicken in my life last night.

Fall foliage, stunning canyon views - often not accessible by car - live music and more are some of the perks of traveling by train—with both modern and vintage locomotives in Colorado.• Story by Daliah Singer • Edited by Jessica LaRusso • Photo Editing by Sarah Banks with early photo research by Charli Ornett

Our deep dive into early Nuggets years in the ABA, American Basketball Association, league where amazing players like David Thompson aka Skywalker (whom Michael Jordan asked to induct him into the HoF) made their mark before merging with, and inspiring, today’s NBA. We visited @heykiddo_oy & @okyeah_hk on Tennyson Street in the Berkeley Neighborhood of Denver. It is brought to you by award winning restaurateur @ie_kelly from @ie_hospitality . His restaurants @thewolfstailor @bastaboulder and @brutodenver all recently received a coveted Michelin star or two. ✨

Hey Kiddo is a True American restaurant with cuisine based in many traditions and techniques; always highlighting in-house fermentation, well-sourced protein, local grain, and a zero waste kitchen mentality. They offer full dinner service, a large curated menu, a creative wine list, and late hours.

OK YEAH is located in the back of their space. They offer bespoke cocktail creations suited to your mood.

The Rooftop offers rotating snacks, a few large format dining packages and a focused cocktail selection. The perfect place to pop some bubbles with our amazing wine list and phenomenal views. 🎉

My culture is not your costume😤 🧗🏼‍♀️

Approach shoes are officially on the @nytstyle page, and I just feel bad for all the Vibram that’ll never touch a trail or a rock.

Also, @heykiddo_oy is serving dinner on the roof and it’s the best! Eating with panoramic mountain views and hiking above the tree-line are the stuff of Colorado dream weekends

A huge thank you to @goodr for going above and beyond!

We’re grateful for the generosity, the community, and the reminder that genuine hospitality can happen in so many different ways.

Thank you, goodr, for taking care of our people 😎

Hospitality Community Win!! Over two years ago a Michelin Bib Gourmand award went missing from @heykiddo_oy - last night through talking with people while on Door Duty at @occidental_bar I discovered the person who made a drunken mistake and removed said award. I asked for it back and she delivered. Bringing it home to @idest_hq family asap!!

Occupying the third floor of an inconspicuous apartment building in Denver's Berkeley neighborhood, @HeyKiddo_OY's homely setting suits the warm and fuzzy comfort its menu leaves you with.

Japanese milk bread smothered in butter, spicy shrimp cocktail with a banana cocktail sauce (yes, you read that right), perfectly charred shishito peppers with a light herb aioli. Loved these small shareables. For a "centerpiece" we went with the Korean fried chicken. Light, spicy, delish. The potato pavé topped with trout roe and gravy was a favorite of the night, and last but not least: the chef's rice shaken in a box table-side.

Strong recommendation from me for Hey Kiddo!
