wedding favors made fun again 🤗

a nostalgic experience, a little surprise, and a custom keepsake your guests actually want to take home, because the best wedding details are the ones that become part of the memories

For a long time, I thought going to networking events was enough.

I thought if I just got in the room, introduced myself a few times, and simply existed, the right connections would naturally happen.

But it doesn’t really work that way…

I would leave having had a few surface-level conversations, but without any real momentum in my business. No follow-up. No clear next step.

And I realized the issue wasn’t that I wasn’t showing up, it was that I was showing up passively.

Today I went to the WIPA @wipaseattle member connect at the Edgewater in downtown Seattle, and this is how I was more intentional:

1. I said hi to more people—had more conversations
2. I came in with more positivity
3. I asked how I could be more involved with WIPA
4. I connected with the awesome photographers @erinwittphotography and @andrewparsonsweddings !
5. I connected with the awesome planner Diana @hiddenhand_events
6. I connected with Victoria our host at the Edgewater @edgewaterhotelweddings
7. I connected with Sara owner of @wandereventrentals
8. I connected with my friend @emettjoseph !
9. I asked Victoria how venues refer other vendors so I could learn their process
10. I was open to shooting corporate events when asked, while I normally shoot weddings—trying events I do less often
11. I opened up about my videography work, not just my photography
12. I found someone to pick up my daughter from school so I could attend
13. I got there early and stayed a little after to maximize my time

So go with intention (It was awesome meeting everyone today!)

Make a point to start conversations with new people.

Think about the kinds of connections you actually want to build.

Focus on meeting people who align with where you’re going, not just people who happen to be in the room.

Because showing up is a start.

But intentional action is what creates opportunities.

Looking forward to working together with everyone soon!

all the designs I made for my clients in may 🤗

this month we vended pirate-themed temporary tattoos, PNW-inspired stickers, and elegant vintage designs for a dreamy romantic celebration

no two events are ever the same - every design starts with a story, vibe, place or idea and gets transformed into a personalized favor guests won’t forget

here’s to more wedding, celebrations, and little keepsakes in June

This weekend at the @puyallupweddingshow - the State Fair Agriplex was filled with such talented people. People that have an incredible passion for the wedding industry, on a mission to help dreams come true and to celebrate love. These ladies surrounding me are all wedding planners. Along with sharing our passion for weddings, we also share a passion for supporting each other. Cheers to the small business babes kicking some ass, chasing and supporting dreams. This weekend will go down as one of my favs. 🥂❤️
