POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒆 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝑼𝒑 💜

I got to officially meet one of my long term book besties this past week 🥹 @hiddenirises 💜🤍💜🤍

Cynthia graduated from a college here in Ohio so it was a must to spend a day together. Congratulations girly you earned it!💜

We had a fun day yapping each other’s ear off and even got to visit an opening weekend for an indie bookstore! @underthecoverscle, they were SO nice! And the store was literally the absolute cutest 😍

Also met a local author and picked up her book 😍, not normally something I reach for but I was intrigued and couldn’t pass up supporting a local author @brebartellauthor 🤍

And of course I had to get other goodies and another book 😍 I’ve heard amazing things about @authorlivzander books 👀🫶🏼

I'm probably late for this trend ✌️😄

A while back, lovely @the.invisible.life.of.a.reader tagged me in her take of "Seven Deadly Sins" as books. So here I finally am :))

✨️ Lust - books/novels I bought because of the covers.
[Can you blame those of us, who are easily art-baited? I don't think so]

✨️ Envy - books/novels I wish I could read again for the first time.
[Erase my memory and let me go crazy with them]

✨️ Pride - challenging books/novels that I've read.
[Heavy topics, traumatizing stories, diabolical scenes. Should I seek out psychologist?]

✨️ Wrath - books I didn't like or dnf'd.
["We listen, and we don't judge" 👀]

✨️ Gluttony - books/novels I've read in a day.
[Took few breaths and I was done with these stories]

✨️ Greed - books/novels that I wish were longer.
[I. NEED. MORE. ! Inject my veins with them]

✨️ Sloth - books I've had on my tbr for ages.
[It's embarrassing how long my tbr is. I know you'rethe same, don't lie]

Q❓️: what was the last movie/series you watched that you enjoyed?

I finished The Glory (South Korean drama on Netflix, directed by An Gil-ho) and oh boy, it was fascinating. Years after surviving horrific bullying in high-school, Moon Dong Eun puts an elaborate revenge scheme, where she makes the perpetrators pay for their crimes. Have you seen it?

I saw this as a review comment and I couldn't agree more 🙂‍↕️ : "It's always "I love you" and never "I will be your executioner, I will be your missing one percent, just tell me who do you want me to ☠️ first." like damn.. Shakespeare right here, right?

p.s. I have tagged few of you, but as always - no pressure ;)

Hello, hello. Happy New Year, friends! ✨️

Just as majority of you, I've also made 2025 wrapped (+notes) post heh. Alas, not on 31st of Dec. I procrastinated, color me not surprised.

It's been a very tough year..years actually, and I'm probably not the only one. So, I hope that all of us will have a much better year this time. Not only for ourselves, and the closest to us, but for everyone around the world. Thank you for being here, for being kind and supportive. I'm truly grateful for all of you. In a sea of trolls, I feel extremely lucky, that I have connected to wonderful people only 🤍

I'm very glad I did not set any reading goals for myself. No pressure = happiness. I didn't register all the gazillion titles of manhwa, manhua, manga's, that I've read. But going forward, I'll try to do that more seriously. My memory is not the best, so writing down them would help.

Anyways, I've been often thinking if I'm even happy with the account look/content I have.. When I was talking to a friend of mine, I said that it's natural that a person, throughout the time, will change their reading tastes. I started with the classic - YA fantasy. You know, the popular titles that everyone and their grandma knows. Then come dark romance era. Then slight mix of different genres and now I'm here. For a long time, I've been feeling guilty and confused. Hence, not posting much. Why? Because logically, I know that I can post whatever I want but at the same time.. what if my old friends/followers.. from previous eras, will hate what I post. I mean.. free country and everyone can block, unfollow and read what they want. I support everyone's choices. Always. But weirdly, I've been hesitant to post what I truly want. I know it's super silly (first world problems).

So, going forward, I'll be more true to myself and post what I really like (wow Eli, big girl pants here lmao. No one cares). Sooo, expect to see more novel, manga, manhua, manhwa content. Even art (with credits ofc), or tv series, movies thoughts, etc. It's ok to unfollow me, truly :)

One last thing - what was your top read for 25? Or any realizations you want to share?

Again.. thank you for sticking around.
Love, Eli
