Well-made teaware carries a certain stillness. You feel it before you pour.

Vessel is a gathering of that kind of stillness. Two weekends inside the practice of tea.

Five ceramicists who spent months making pieces specifically for this event, alongside guided sits that cover everything from Following the Way of Tea and Starting a Tea Practice to Tea Tasting, the 5 Elements, Gongfu Cha, Methods of Brewing, and Rare Aged Puerh. Sits pour from Vault teas that have never been shared publicly (1.5 hours each, limited to 18 seats).

An invitation to slow down. To hold something made by hand. To taste tea the way it was meant to be tasted.

Boulder: Aug 28-30.
Denver: Sept 3-5.

Seven sits. One for wherever you are in the practice.

Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been sitting with tea for years, there’s a room for you at Vessel.

Starting a Tea Practice is the entry point — no vocabulary required. Rare Aged Puerh is for serious drinkers looking for depth and access. And everything in between: gongfu technique, the five elements, methods of brewing, a tasting across the classes of tea.

Each sit runs 1.5 hours and is ticket-holder only. Offered both weekends — Boulder (August 28–30) and Denver (September 3–5).

Open hours are free and open to all, with ceramics and rare teas on display throughout.

We had the best time hosting many of our local creator friends for a two-part happy hour event last week. Thank you to @uchirestaurants and @carne_rino for welcoming us in! We enjoyed tasty bites while getting to spend special face-to-face time with so many of the people we work closely with.
