@stoldrag World Champion @wildweststeve makes a high-speed pass in the Wild West Aircraft / @justaircraftllc Highlander “Yeehaw 8.” ✈️💨

This machine is powered by a turbo-charged @yamahamotorusa Sidewinder snowmobile engine, producing 400+ horsepower and delivering extreme power-to-weight performance, the ideal machine for STOL Drag.

The wait is almost over! We've sent the all-new @planeandpilotmag to print! @stoldrag85 took center stage with a jaw-dropping STOL Drag race performance on @highsierraflyin Dead Cow lakebed! ✈️

We're proud of the work that went into this rebrand, but it wouldn’t have been possible without so many key people. Whether you filmed with me or taught me the ins and outs of the backcountry, I’m truly thankful for each of you! 😊

Extra special thanks to @scott_stacy_newell for letting me borrow Yoda for so many key pieces of this rebrand!

The January/February issue will be in your mailbox in a few short weeks! 🤩

4,000 nautical miles, sixteen states, three weeks… all in my Husky to line up on a dry lake bed in the high Sierras and drag race airplanes.

Last month I finally checked a long-term goal off my list and flew my Husky across North America to compete in STOL Drag—an event that blends precision flying, energy management, and a whole lot of dust.

From passing certification to racing alongside some incredible pilots, it was an experience I’ll never forget.

Part 2 is coming—there’s a lot more to share.

If you pay close attention you’ll notice three Canadian girls racing in this video 😏

My head was not in the game for filming that day so cameras were dying left right and center but you get the idea.

Some behind the scenes racing my Canadian sisters .
