POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Welcome to our channel! We’re glad you’re here.
We’re Karla, Ben, Lincoln and Rory.

Our travel life started long before we had kids with visits to Bali, France, Ireland, all over the USA and more. Now we get to travel with our kids and show them a world we’ve always wanted to share with them.

Though travel looks a lot different, we hope that you find something that inspires you to get out and see more of what’s out there. Whether it’s theme parks, cruises, resorts, or exploring your own back yard, we hope that you get out and see as much as you can.

Thank you for being here!

Good looks, the best dad, and willing to book the trip? I really did win in the husband department!

Share this with the man in your life that you are thankful for and remind him why you love to keep him around 💙

The best journeys aren't always the ones on a map. Sometimes it's about slowing down, appreciating what you have, and making memories with the people who matter.

We spent the weekend with family on Lake Gaston. It was the perfect way to celebrate the kart days of summer and get ready for the upcoming school year. These are core memories in the making, and exactly what we always envisioned when we had kids. It was a chance to slow down, reflect and be grateful.

Let’s take a tour of my spare bedroom studio.

If you guys are new here my name is Ben and I’ve been a full time creator since getting laid off from my corporate job in 2025.

A big lesson I learned early on was that efficiency means consistency. So having a studio space setup and ready for filming means I can get in, shoot and get out in the limited time I have. Between kids, responsibilities, marriage and life, I don’t have a ton of time to shoot. So having a dedicated space is a necessity.

Do you need all this for UGC work? Absolutely not. Does it help my make high production client work more efficient, absolutely.

Nights like these are priceless and this will be a one we will remember for a long time!

Just us, like we used to be, having the best time and reminding ourselves that it’s okay to have these moments!

Send this to the person you want to remember there has “you and me” before we became “mom and dad” 🫶

One thing I’ve really started to appreciate more lately is hearing from creators who are balancing creativity alongside real life responsibilities — careers, families, uncertainty, and everything in between.
That’s why I was grateful to connect with Ben Brown aka @himrmackenzie for this episode of Creative Path and talk about his journey from corporate life into full-time content creation, how fatherhood shaped his priorities, and what it actually looks like trying to build something meaningful while raising a family.
We also got into the reality of personal branding, navigating social media growth, working with brands, and the importance of just starting before you feel fully prepared. A lot of what Ben shared honestly resonated with me personally, especially the idea that none of us ever fully have things figured out — we just continue learning as we go.
I’ve really enjoyed following his content over the past several months because it feels grounded in real experience and relatability. Beyond the filmmaking and creator side of things, he shares a lot of thoughtful perspective around growth, identity, and finding balance while pursuing creative goals.
Definitely go check out his page if you enjoy content around creativity, fatherhood, branding, filmmaking, and the behind-the-scenes reality of being a creator in today’s world.
This series will continue focusing on conversations with creators from different backgrounds to share the lessons, experiences, and perspectives that shape their creative journey.
To watch the full conversation head over to my YouTube (Nate Lavigne) — link in bio, and stay tuned for more!

Every parent knows this struggle: You use your strollers rain cover once or twice, put it away, and the next time you take it out It’s gone completely white. Now your kid is sitting in a cloud bank instead of enjoying the view while staying dry. The only solution: buy a new one. Or is it?

With a few minutes, a simple tool, and very little effort, you can bring your rain cover back to almost new condition.

All you need is a heat gun (I have a cheap one from Harbor Freight, set to a low setting, and a little patience. Simply turn on the heat gun, and hold it a few inches away from the rain cover, and you’ll start to see the plastic come back to life almost immediately.

Be patient and keep the heat gun moving. Holding it in place for too long can melt the plastic and then you’re SOL.

Let me know in the comments if you knew this back already or if this is going to save you some cash!
