POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our 3rd Annual Goth Prom was another magical night. Our favourite part was hearing all the stories about how folks got to reclaim their own prom experience and getting to see the joy on the kw scenes faces.

A BIG thank you to

Franny @hippyparking for holding down the door
Cam @papa_hashbrown for his vision and vibe setting skills
John @jamvideophoto for capturing the magic and smiles
@theunionkw for letting us take over your space
The bands @petrochemicals_ als_ @_nightchill hill and to @bluefreeziemusic on a record release for the ages.

DJ @fatscheid crushed the 1 & 2s

On behalf of Brian, Cody, Zack and Myself we want to thank all the attendees for partaking in our shenanigans. See you at the next THING.

Jon and Dave always capturing the best photos!

The Crawl started off as collaborative effort between myself and Zack, it’s successful growth has been so positively vital with the inclusion of Scott and Cody of Pink Lemonade Records. So positive that I finally joined Pink Lemonade Records, so going forward in 2027 each volume will be just presented by PLR, not as “Fat Scheid and Pink Lemonade Records”. The team hasn’t changed. We’ve just grown tighter.

Personally, this Crawl I was hesitant to engage in partipating in running the Crawl the day of as it fell on the anniversary of my life partners passing which is an incredibly mentally hard day to keep it together. So I embraced my Candie’s memory by using her art for the poster for the Crawl, so that she would still be with everyone at an event that fills rooms with smiles, during a holiday that can celebrate family and friends. She would have had so much fun on Sunday. She would have loved all the bands and her smile would light up the room with all the other smiles. Her art being present was a reminder that it’s worth engaging. Everyone has hard times and losses, and if we can put more smiles on faces that may need it, than it’s worth it.

Look for the Crawl to expand in 2027. This is just the start.

Hope to see y’all at the Goth Punk Prom this Friday Oct 23rd!

As terrifying as again can be, I couldn’t be prouder to have another rotation around the sun. Through this year of significant change and difficult journeys, I have been shown that there are some incredibly special people out there that lead me through with love, kindness, understanding and true companionship. Gratitude doesn’t even come close to summarizing how I feel in this moment, but it’ll will have to do. Thank you to all of you and let’s tackle 34 together 💖
Cheers 🥂
